While I prefer the nine inch nails version, the song itself was the perfect choice. Ch'rell did leave Karai his "empire of dirt". Thank you for making this, for inspiring me, and allowing me to see Karai in a different light. I'm also kinda jealous. >_> I would love to be able to make videos, but appearantly I'm too much of a noob to figure it out. I have the perfect song for Karai if you'd like to put it to good use.

Originally I was going to do another video using NIN - but putting Leo under the spotlight and post hem up as comparison pieces. However I feel that this version would have suffered for it since ultimately Karai was the one who was short changed the greatest by the expectation and shackles of her position and duty. Karai is a tricky character to understand, and this stems from the duality of her personality. She has two distinct, warring principles that tear her asunder. Sadly, yet understandably, she goes with her honour, and part of that is honouring her father and his wishes.

The worst thing - and she does appear to realise this - is that had Leo been prepared to let her father leave then things could have ended differently. Hell the city could have been at peace once more.

I believe the previous poster was describing the video over all, and naturally Karai IS nothing without the Shredder. That was pretty clear in the show. As for afterwards, she wasn't someone to mess with that much was clear. Cold, ruthless and devestatingly efficient she did do what no other villain on the show could. Got into the TMNT lair.

As for the song I used, sorry you feel that way, but if you listen carefully to the lyrics it is a perfect testament to the relationship that Karai shared with her father, hence its use.

Hmm, I'n 50-50 on the Utrom side of things. It was a good twist but it did open a can of worms. Also, without out Utrom shredder you do lose about half of a fascinating series!
