Songs like these always remind you of something special. This one reminds me of my 6th grade year where I went on a school trip to a Science camp for 2 days. It was also during the time of my first relationship. I had gotten The Rise of the Ogre the day before the trip and brought it. This song will forever be embedded in my head along with these sweet memories. I get the chills when I hear it, but it also makes me think about how I should have appreciated those memories when they happened.

I caught up with an old friend from over 20 years back on Facebook and It turns out He's stage Manager for Gorillaz !! Unreal. He got Me and My Wife in to their "Plastic beach" rehearsals in Birmingham, UK. The best part is, He's still a real down to earth bloke. Ain't life funny sometimes ?

Gorillaz is remarkable. Damon Albarn's music genius, Jamie Hewlett's beautiful art, and the help of great colaborators, it's just inspirational. "Gorillaz", "Demon Days", and "Plastic Beach" was fantastic, alongside with "G-sides" and "D-sides". Gorillaz inspired me to draw great art like Jamie and make music like Damon. Gorillaz's music is so motivational.

I agree, however Gorillaz has like 5 years without performing a big proyect, so i really hope that "Plastic Beach" becomes a sucess. After "Demon Days" gorillaz hasnt made a lot, well, just only some pretty good songs like We are the happy landfill, Hong Kong (Great song), and others that i dont exactly remember. Their last works are not really impressive but every big proyect they take generally its a success.

So I have been listening to gorillaz since i was a kid, so I really spect a lot.
