this thing sure is slow...i have a 306 1.4 8v which is 300+kg heavier and i go faster than this...way faster...you must have some kind of problem with your engine...
@dukeofdream This was not sprint, only run on 2nd gear. And no, 306 with 1.4 and 1.6 is not faster. I prove it on 2 drag races. 1.4 is way slower and 1.6 with cold air intake is little bit slower than 106 1.4. But that was my previous car, now i have 1.6 16V gti and this is entirely another league :-)
@kujonek sure it's another league...my friend has a 2.0 306 with 178hp and 106 gtis allways leave him behind...but after 130-140km/h the 306 starts to pull back...106 gti is a fantastic car!

in germany!!! the rallye 75 hp 1.4!!!!! And the sport has 60 hp 1.1 or 75! 1.4! my new engine is a 1.4 75 standart! is tuned to 144 hp! its very fast! the s 16 has 118 1.6 and 1.6 with 96 hp!
I liked it very much :-) But the 1.4 was broken too much time, so i decided to sold it on October. And now (3 weeks ago) I bought a 106 s16 (1.6 16V 118HP), very, very fast 106 ;)

And 1.4 was never called Rallye (at Czech market), only "Sport". Rallye was 1.6 8V & 1.6 16V.

1.3 16V engine doesn´t exist. Only 16V in 106´s is the 118hp 1.6.
And 1.6 8V is rallye at the UK market, yes ;)
