    hi there!

    yes you can use soaked chick peas instead, just make sure they are fully cooked and soft when squeezed with your fingers! this way it will blend better and produce a creamy, smooth texture in the end product!

    i would only use lemons as the limes may give it a more bitter taste!

    hummus is delish and super healthy too!

    i have made hummus using butternut squash instead of garbanzo beans-check out my video for it. it's on my video list.

    it was creamy and had a hint of sweetness from the squash. YUM!!!!
