LA/081001 / Robert A. McClain, 34, a Los Angeles Sheriff's Deputy, was charged yesterday with torturing and forcibly sexually assaulting his wife and another man. Deputy McClain repeatedly punched and kicked the victims and forced them at knifepoint to undress and ordered them to engage in a sex act. McClain slashed the man's face, and then forcibly sodomized his wife and chopped off her hair with the knife. McClain's wife was able to flee with her four children and drive to a hospital nearby.
