Nah. I just found out the rendering for Skyrim's Sky. Is actually from Morrowind. It uses the same crap like clouds, color etc. While Skyrim uses a bit of more textures in the - clouds. That's why i think it looks better. :P

The reason Bethesda had to hire someone to port Oblivion to PS3, is because they were planning to make Oblivion for 360 and PS3, but when PS3 came out, they had no fucking idea how to make the game for it. Face it, PS3 is way harder to code/program.

And i have to acutally say. This game does look better. The 360 and PC look a bit pale and bad. But PC with Mods do make a better game. But the thing is some MODs well most look like shit on PC. I Just don't know why but PS3 has something that makes this game look unique only on PS3. The Graphics from far away make this blend on the ground with shaders. I just looks cool. Maybe it's the Cell Broadband doing it.

Shit, Oblivion is terrible ON PS3! Oblivion is a PC game, without doubt! The game is awesome but it gets boring really fast and with so many annoying features and glitches that cannot be fixed on ps3, it is 10 000 times better to have it on pc... Plus the mods and contruction set of course :)

ur wrong, they made a Teen rated copy and an M rated copy for EVERY console in EVERY country. I'm from Canada, and the day and went to get the game, I went to look at the used copies since they are cheaper, found a copy rated M, showed the guy at the counter the copy I found and he couldn't sell it to me because of the rating. I went back searching in the used copies, and found a Teen rated Oblivion in the same pile. He sold me the game :)

@JosephStalin11 This game is a lot of fun but you might want to consider the platform before you buy. There are a ton of videos online about how cool Oblivion is but that's mostly for the PC. After playing it on the PS3 and watching all the videos online I feel a bit shortchanged. If you can, go for the PC version which I am about to. But the PS3 is better than nothing, I guess.

@oKaBlaaMo NO MODS! Majority of the vids show cool things that you can do on PC and not on PS3. Don't get me wrong, the game is fun on PS3 but its a whole lot better on the PC. I just got the PC version, just need to install it one of these days. Check out some of the mod vids online and you'll understand what you're missing out on.

PC's aren't that expensive if you know what you're doing. I dont build my PC's from scratch but I get a set that comes with the cae, cpu, ram and psu all fitted. All I have to do is add a hard drive (easy) and a graphics card (easy) then you have your PC.

It cost me about £450 for my PC compared to £300 for a PS3. I can mod, cheat, download crap on the internet it is awesome!

It indeed shouldn't matter, but in the case of Oblivion it does. You probably own the game on console, because you cannot understand the importance of mods. Oblivion is highly moddable game and the mods enchance the gameplay so much that it makes console versions inferior in comparison.

Your PC must suck hard if you cannot run it smoothly and on full graphics. If you can, it doesn't lag and looks better than on consoles. But the main reason why you should never buy this game on a console is the mods. There are tons of cool mods for PC like armor and race mods and lots of others, but the best mods are the basic ones that enchance gameplay and graphics. Without those, the game is a LOT worse, and you cannot get mods for consoles.

But the point is the extraordinary difference of the PC and console versions of Oblivion. Most games are at least slightly better on PC than on consoles, but due to the excellent mods on PC, console version of Oblivion is absolutely horrible when compared.

The story mode isn't any different on consoles, some people do NOT LIKE MODS. They like to play the storymode, go online and play the game equally without any MOD rooms and consoles are 200% more convenient.
