u are awesum teacher but sir i playes sayyoni twice in a band and we play F instead of dat Bb in start and the verse uses the mix pattern of Dm and Bb ....not Dm!!!

Pls mind me if i m wrong

F is fine, Bb sounds better with the overall mood :)

the note at that point is F, so technically Bb chord will do as it has the note F and can be played in Dm scale ...

Hi. I like ur other posts... but really doesnt like these ones...Just submitting my fair views regaring THIS particular post.

Maeri and Maula Mere was just out of tone.. chords were partially matched.. On the whole it doesnt sounds gud at all... and in last chords for SAYYONEE was not accurate at all... try using these ones..

sayyyoooneeeeeeee (Fmaj) eeeeeeeeee (Cmaj) eeeeeeeeee(Dmin)

Chain ikk pal(Bb) nahiii(Dm)

Aur koi hal(Bb) nahiiiii(Amaj)

Just i would like to comment on the Sayyoni Song by Junoon that (dm) Chain ek pal nahin (dm) chain ek pal nahin aur koi (a7) nahin he Salman is one of the finest guitarist in the world Kaun mode mohaa (here he use to play chords with some open notes) Ur struggle is highly appreciated but salman's style is quite different from this. sr...1st of all u r vry humble and ideal man....its not easy to rply every1's commen bt u usually do dat..sr i correct my prblm my slf ..actully i was prblm in recognizing higher and lower note....so my guitar was not tuned.But i found a way..i was playing the theme of mohabbtein in only 1 strng..bcoz wen i played in individual strngs it dosnt sound correct...then i played dat in individual strings and tune my guitar wid dat.....thnx sr

i developed this style many years ago when i had to play at a party and did not have a pick. i really found it very difficult to play, in fact i tried using a coin as well !! anyway, after that i started playing this way though i still use a pick on stage ...

not much to do a tutorial about, i just hit with the edges of all fingers as if i was holding a pick! when u try initially, it will sound terrible, have patience ... think of it like playing barre chords ....
