Great to finally see her perform, if only on YouTube. She was my favorite singer in the mid 60s. My friends thought I was nuts. She inspired me to play that kind of lonesome modal sounding banjo.

Her live performances were never less than spellbinding. She could keep a rock-solid, red-hot banjo accompaniment going while singing with complete freedom and electrifying intensity. I've never heard anyone like her before or since.
