  • he tried to dress like a hillbilly i really know what a hillbilly looks like. :(

  • @theNEXTmason Thank you for your comment and consideration. It was Halloween and I thought this year it would be fun to dress like the newspaper comic strip character, Snuffy Smith. I meant no disrespect to anyone.

  • This is awesome!!!/... i wish i could play banjo!!

  • @dom0tron Thank you for your comment. Technically, although I taught myself to play banjo, I don't really consider myself a "banjo player". I applied my knowlege of playing guitar in open tunings to the banjo. Please check out my instructional video CD 5 on ebay by searching: keni lee and also visit cigarboxnation for more information. Enjoy.

  • How did he make that? thats sooo cool :D

  • @juliqtlove Thank you for your comment and question. I am a player and teacher, not a builder. I purchased this years ago on ebay, but you need to visit cigar box nation. You will find there a fine community of builders that can help, if you are interested in building your own instrument. I will send you some information Enjoy.

  • SIPPIN DIPPIN MUDDIN WHITE TAILING AT'S WHAT 'AM TALKIN BOUT

  • @LUNCHBOX2025 Thank you for your comment. Enjoy.

  • whats the name of this song? the first one?

  • @FreezeSpekk56 Thank you for your interest and question. Dueling Banjos. Enjoy

  • Hey, I loved this. Zeb has geat talent and a fine instrument.

I believe that I heard him calling in to late Night Radio from North Carolina the

other night. Something to do with being abducted and probed by aliens in a

    flying saucer.

On the other hand, judging from the calls, that could be about anyone from

    North Carolina :-)

  • @drybeansaloon Actually I have not heard from Jebediah for many years now. So alien abduction is not out of the question. Last we heard he was training pigs somewhere in France to dig for truffles. He got addicted to drinking absinthe and had to go into rehab. Currently, he went back to the family farm and started growing dirt again. He has a good heart, but he lives his life wearing rose colored glasses. Thanks for your interest. Enjoy.

  • Do you play clawhammer?

  • @tinpanalley67 Technically no. I usually wear fingerpicks when I play, so downstrokes with my fingers are impossible, but when I play without them, I can utilize the clawhammer approach.

  • lol

  • @LTmattYT Thank you for your comment. Ya, a little Halloween fun. Enjoy.

  • I enjoyed this... very animated

  • Thank you for your comment. Getting into the Halloween Spirit. Enjoy.

  • i am a banjo player and impressive banjo, being homemade and all.

  • Thank you. The banjo was built using the information found in the Foxfire Series of books. Enjoy.

  • Teeheeheeheeeheeeheee !!!

  • Thank you for your comment. Jebediah is the black sheep of our family and we suspect he may be the offspring of one too. Yikes! LOL

  • hahahahaha

  • Thank you for your comment. Happy Halloween. LOL Enjoy.

  • Great work guys.

  • Thank you for your comment. Enjoy.

  • By anychance do you know the name of the tune he started playing at :42?

  • Thank you for your question. I believe the name of the song is Dueling Banjos. It became very popular after the 1972 movie classic called Deliverance. Enjoy.

  • haha this is so funny!!

  • Thank you. A little Halloween fun.

  • If you're Smallpox, can I say if you meant that I looked like him so not funny.

If your not smallpox that is really funny, great video - loving the hat

  • Well, I have no idea if Smallpox? thought it looks like you. This is just some good old time Halloween fun. Enjoy.

  • Looks like someone I know LOL. That there banjo sure looks and sounds purty!!!! Great job Keni!!!

  • Thank you. Just some good old Halloween fun! Trick or Treat? Enjoy.

  • this is hilarious!!! nice cookie tin and overalls man hahaha! sounds good. good playing too :o)

  • Thank you. I'll tell Jeb you had some kind things to say about him. He's back home in the sticks. Last I heard, he has been making medicine for his near sighted-ness in his bathtub out of old rotten rutabagas. Taste really bad going down, but you see clear up to heaven.

  • kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • Thank you for your comment, but what does kkkkkkk mean?

  • ARRGHHH DON'T get out of the boat!!! Just kidding Funky!!

  • Thank God, Halloween is only "once" a year.

  • Haha very cool, the banjo is a beauty aswell. I'm making one like that at this very moment.

    Gijs

  • Thank you Gijs. I bought it on Ebay, but my friend, the guitar builder, installed a new cookie tin and fretted the neck. I haven't had the chance yet to finish my song on the CBG you made for me. I've been side tracked with working on new material with my friends Jackie and Bill. Love to see and hear your homemade Banjo when it is completed.

  • Awesome... Next time you apply for the NY permit you should do it as that character lol...

  • lol. Thats a great idea. Unfortunately, that is what the guy looked like that performed before me during last year's aution.

  • lol Did he get it?

  • Actually, I was surprised by the high level of talent that came to the audition.

  • Excellent :o) Can you get power chords on that cookie tin banjo I wonder? Jebediah, you rock man ,\,,/

  • Thank you. Jebediah used to play heavy metal on his electric pitchfork, but since he found religion, he don't play no rock and roll.

  • That gave me a big ole waterrmelon size smile.

  • Thank you. It is a little know fact, but Jebediah won the Watermelon seed spitting contest back in 1973. He claimed it was the gap in his front teeth that made it possible to hit the broad side of a barn at 100 paces.

  • Hi there KeniLee, Rich here again.

Thanks for the Hallow'een Special, great hillbilly impersonation, not so sure about that contraption you were playing though!!!!

    Laughed my socks off---- cheers!

    Rich

  • Thank you. Jebediah once owned one of those fancy Sears catalog banjos, but when he was playing at the annual Alligator Pie Eating Contest, he overheard someone say it would sound better from the bottom of a lake. So, he threw it in.

  • Hahaha good one!

  • Thank you. Jeb would like to invite you all to visit and drink some of his homemade corn whiskey that he makes only for medicinal purposes (it can grow hair back on your head), but he has to get back home for the annual pig wrestlin' festival. Last year, our Aunt Petunia won.

  • ha ha ha very good kenilee, and jebe too, he sre has the family look ;-)

  • Thank you. Jeb is the smart one in the family. He completed the 6th grade.

  • nice , cool playin'

  • Thank you. The banjo was made from the information found in the Foxfire series of books.

  • ahahaha awesome man. i love the banjo :D

  • Thank you. I love playing the banjo just as much as I love hunting possum with my old slingshot.
