  • wow thats awesome i like that idea

  • hehe that first song "it's amazing how youuuu can speak riiight to my heeaaarrtt. Without saaayin' a wooorrrd... you can light up the daaark". Only faster xD

  • i had an original gameboy pocket black and white. fucking got stolen, bad idea to bring collectibles around

  • i googled around the net and according to some site pin 32 on the gameboy and gameboypocket is the external audio input, but pin 32 on the gameboycolor and gameboyadvance is just ground.

so this will simply NOT work on the gbc and gba.

noq if it will be possible to even panning the ext input alongside with channel 3 that would be great to be allowed diigital stereo sound!!!

  • Reminds me of the GBC that controls a sewing machine.

  • it isnt the gameboy playing the music: the gameboy is only controlling the music player.

  • How did you do this?

  • Japan for the world :)

  • fake, any cartridge provided by nintendo, shows logo, any other not, just black line or eventually something else... long time ago, i have made universal multimeter with gameboy, and i havent got nintendo logo at startup

    FAKE, IDE CABLE IS FAIL

  • @tosefanclubsa I REJECT!

How do you explain gameshark? those show up a nintendo symbol. and of course, you might say, "uh, Pff, well, yeah, but as you remember there is a nintendo game in the gameshark" FALSE. THE GAMEBOY MUST GO THROUGH THE SHARK AND OUT THE BUTT. CODE GENERATOR.

    THEORY IS BUST.

  • the gameboy dosent have that good of qualaty speaker and its not that loud

  • @PsychoticPyroUmbreon he could have conected a high quality speaker on the Jack Output that have all Gameboys. =)

  • all asian music sounds the same

  • a fake video!!!!

  • LOL

  • youtube watchers do you also know if this works on the gameboycolor and gameboyadvance,or does it only works on the original gameboy, and pocket.

i,ve searched around the net about the pinouts of each system but only found the gameboy ones.

i know the 1st gameboy has 1 external soundpin inputbut howabout those revisions.

    annyway thanks!!!

  • COOOOOOOOLLLLL !!!!!!!

  • I think he's speaking Portuguese.

Is the point that the music plays through the gameboy speaker?

  • how did you do tha!?!?you know any other cool things u can do with it?

  • this is simply just a way to show that "the sky is the limit" on otherwise outdated gadgets.

  • Ho fas molt be ;)

Ja m'agradaria saber-ho fer tot aixo.

  • what a fake -.-

your boxcontroler was in the background

  • real handy

  • yougoodcoolCDPlayeer

  • thia ia actualy prety cool ,so you streamed and mixed the audio to the gameboy,s 1 exterrnal soundpin input.

really great cuzz sadly no game had ever take advantage of it.

  • fake

  • it would be nice if the game boy control the player like a ir remote

  • fake! or u upraged the speaker

  • Learn some English DUDE

  • @fatdan90 learn some spanish, dude

  • Learn some damn English

  • Not fake ... but overall pretty unimpressive, since afterall the audio gets streamed directly from the drive, degrading the gameboy to a speaker. And well, 8bit IDE interfaces are damn easy to build.

But then again, this shows some potential, as the circuit could possibly be adapted to a use a HDD and some RAM to allow loading ROMS from the HDD and playing them on the Gameboy ... but then again, that's basically what flashcarts do since many years.

  • This must worth like 400 bucks.

  • fake

  • nope, i've seen the project page. They didn't post any schematics, but they showed detailed shots of the electronics inside the box. They took apart a Prince Of Persia cart to easily access the GameBoy pins (if i remember correctly).

  • do you use the gameboy as a remote ?

  • FAKEEEEE MYBE NOT :|

  • That is fucking awesome

  • Lol, i thought it would be a add on, tuns out the gameboy was the add-on!

  • Game boy light, so good

  • this videos title should be gameboy cd player with a huge ba-donk-a-donk on the side

  • that is so fake cuz game boy cant play that loud

  • Omg your a dip shit he used separate speakers DERR!!

  • what the hell??????????????????????????????

  • This is fun ^^

  • u just dont get it

  • I prosume the music comes from the gameboy

  • Judging by the reflection Jordi looks sexy :p *ahem*

  • your songs suck ass listen to j-pop or something!

  • Lmao did u say Japan pop...lol i donno bout The pillows

  • The goal is not do something useful the goal is learn doing something useful. Ok, it's too big but it plays CD audio.

  • i can't see why that could be useful..
