@Pattonfrodo Yep. Eric Jacobson does almost all of Frank Oz's characters from Bert to Sam the Eagle. He still works on Sesame Street occasionally, but hasn't done anything for the Muppets since Muppets From Space.

@weeemanqwerty What made him a Muppet? A Muppet was strictly a "simple/abstract" style puppet designed to look, well simple or abstract. He wasn't even made by Jim Henson. Frank Oz may have played him but that doesn't necessarily qualify as a Muppet.

If we had to put Yoda in a certain terminology, he'd be more of a "creature" than a Muppet because he's designed to seem realistic. But either way, Jim Henson didn't create Yoda - he only gave advice on how to build it.

The Star Wars creatures were created in-house by Stuart Freeborn in England and at Industrial Light & Magic, George Lucas' special effects shop. Jim Henson and his team, regardless were consultants for the Yoda puppets. And NEVERENDING STORY's optical and matte painting special effects are also ILM . Look it up.
