  • wonderful voice .. i stumbled into this video ... it has been a long time since i have heard it .. thank you for posting it !!!!! i just love it :)

  • What a powerful voice, that feeling is amazing!!!!!!!!

  • que canción tan hermosa , es bellísima y ademas en la voz de Mireille es divina su interpretación

  • Edith Piaf never recorded this song. Do your homework and check the wiki, or go have your ears cleaned, because all the versions that are apparently sung by Edith have another person's voice on them. It would have been much better if she sung this song but sadly, all you can do is to kind of dedicate it to her. ''Ne me quitte pas'' = ''Don't leave me''

  • This is my favourite rendition of ne me quitte pas, noone has topped this yet, I only wish that madam Edith Piaf would grace the world with her interpretation of this song, too bad it's too late.

  • awesome

  • Edith Piaf never recorded this (lovely)song. Jacques Brel cried this song out of his soul, Mireille Mathieu does her best here but this is to strong emotion for her.

  • @lillychevalierfox Oh Aye? watch?v=diuuzPp_nzk

  • @lillychevalierfox Edith Piaf also !sung this song.

  • She has a good voice, but somehow her voice lacks the emotional depth to sing something that is not just cheerful.....

  • Her passion far outweighs the vocal quality. It is difficult to sing when tears are welling. As any real artist.

Thank you for sharing this for the average person could never comprehend the feelings it takes to deliver this beautiful song.

  • i luv this soomuchh

  • she can't sing this, poor thing

  • I only have tears

  • appassionato~

  • Excepcional! Thank´s for the video. Mireille , the best! I love her! Thank´s!

  • So kann nur Mimi singen.

    Danke.

  • Naaaaan Edith Piaf n'a pas chanté "ne me quitte pas".

    C'est Mireille Mathieu !!

  • @Jacquomonio Edith Piaf a aussi chanté cette chanson !

  • I find her R sound lovely , and she sings just as beautifully as Maysa and Jacques Brel. Thanks for sharing.

  • I love the emotion in her voice, when she's almost sobbing 'ne me quitte pas' it makes you want to cry too.

  • I could listen this song a life-time :D

  • Her Rs is exquisite, and her enunciation divine.

  • I definatly agree with otto

  • I think the two best versions are from brazilian singer Maysa and from the author, Jacques Brell

  • PS: not sure who's in the photo but that ain't Edith Piaf either.

  • she isn't edith piaf ! :S:S i agree you marlene

  • I HATE MIREILLE MATHIEU! She sounds awful! This lady is dog shit compared to Piaf.

  • Oh darling!!!

    She don't is Edith Piaf!!!

  • I will keep taht in mind

  • this isnt edith piaf.

  • Then? who is she?

  • Edith Piaf never sung this song. The only person i know who sung this song is Jacques brel.

  • This sure isn`t Edith Piaf !!

    It`s also a French singer:

    Mireille Mathieu !

  • Oh! Thank you! I will try to change the tittle.

    I didn't know. Sorry.

  • Thank you!!! I changed it.

  • You`re very welcome !

  • Sorry but that's not Edith Piaf: that is Mireille Mathieu. No one has that typical enunciation of words and horrendous "R" pronunciations like her. Please edit this vid to reflect the truth. This is an insult to Edith Piaf. Thank you.

  • I changed it. Now I am sorry for this, but I find you comment much more insulting than a mistake in the title.

I wonder if you have the bases to insult ANY singer, or if you have the voice to actually think it.

Horrendous your post. But I will keep it here for 2 reasons. Everyone has the right to express what they think. And two, show the world the real ignorance that should be vanished off the world.

  • @IndiumBlue

I think her R's are elegant, but what do I know?

  • Sorry but that's not Edith Piaf: that is Mireille Mathieu. No one has that typical enunciation of words and horrendous "R" pronunciations like her. Please edit this vid to reflect the truth. This is an insult to Edith Piaf. Thank you.
