Its the lemon detox diet that he's on at the time. It was made famous by Beyonce. Its fresh squeezed lemon, cayenne pepper and maple syrup. It doesn't have shit to do with his voice. He's trying to lose weight. Lemon is bad for the voice, the citric acid will clean away the mucus that gathers in the the throat area, but that mucus is there to protect the larynx which has been strained by overuse or bad technique. hahaha if you must know the mixture that chad is using was originally used by body builders in the 80's they call it "fire water". It opens up your sinus cavities allowing more air to travel through, wakes you up and also the secondary compounds in cayanne causes inflamation of the vocal chords making you voice raspy and lower in tone.
