james has been carrying metallica since cliff died. dave was great and then after kirk it has been james, and he can't really sing anymore. I'm sad to say it but they may have washed up

I've never heard any of your records? washed up is the wrong way to put it, I'm still behind Metallica always will be, perhaps their hearts aren't into it at the moment and if half their audience was as dickless as you I'd throw in the towel damn fast. perhaps you should be critical of people who install shower tiles that might be a little easier to comprehend then the longevity of a 20+ band.

Plenty of musicians agree Kirk isn't a good guitarist, and I think Kirk said so himself (but I might be wrong). Anyway, indeed, we aren't all perfect and it happens to the best of us at times.

Anyway, I'm not saying the person did or didn't say something stupid, I'm just saying that resorting to claiming someone's comment isn't valid somehow, unless they're also "as famous" as the person they are commenting about, is kind of weak. Plenty of better guitar players than Kirk aren't famous.

It's not that bad. I mean fuck, for one they're in a setting where I'm sure people are looking at their watches waiting on Metallica to have band practice. THey're not at home on a couch. Plus they're making a movie. All these people think these guitar players are the best and they're flawless. Well here's the news: these guys started out where every other band from that era started. In the punk scene. They know how to rock, they didn't go to Berklee or Juilliard. They smoked weed and jammed.
