  • 2009.....look at Welkers #;s in 2010 & 2011....coincidence? or hardwork & a structured/proven regiment paying off.....

  • 0:53 wow

  • After watching this, watch "SO NEW ENGLAND" The video is nuts and this will be the N.E. Anthem!!

  • Was this before or after he tore his ACL?

  • whats the shrug type motion he's doing at :30 called?

  • @TBRAD12 we do that same kind of thing at my high school, we call it jump shrugs lol

  • him and jordy nelson are my football idols.

  • Hes looking into my soul

  • pause at 0:54 he looks like a midget

  • @kobeballer Well he's not very tall to begin with. :P He's only 5' 9".

  • wes looks scary lol

  • he blinks... but simply human eye can't see that speed of blinking

  • god athletes are so charismatic

  • he sounds like spiderman

  • West Welker works out so much that he doesn't even blink right

  • Wes White Receiver Welker.

  • saw him in person, not a big guy but solid as a friggin rock.

  • a new battle has taken place in the southern hemisphere "RWC 2011"

  • EVERYONE is training there..I definitely need to get on it..would love to see what crazy workouts and drills they have CBs on..GOOOOOD work wwwdotblueribbonbulliesdotcom

  • @MichaelSigh

I am sure no other players in the NFL train that hard, but did not have ACL tears. No... Wes Welker is the only one doing those exercises, I bet he even invented them. I mean we all know that explosive leg exercises are forbidden in NFL weight rooms.

  • did he go through this training... right before tearing his ACL and MCL? ... intriguing coincidence that he knee gives out... after all that stress on his knees during that training...

  • @MichaelSigh Give me a break. We usually don't respond to idiot posts like this that don't even justify a response, but couldn't resist this 1: u can't possibly judge our months of medical-based comprehensive, progressive training w/ a BPS client based on a few minutes of drills we post online. There's multiple medical disciplines that continuously analyze each BPS client through the entire course of training to be able to see what loads and forces are applicable at each joint for each drill.

  • @bommaritoperformance Of course he did more than what was in the brief video. I was pointing out the fact that his knee gave out the season after this training. You can call it an "idiot post" but the observation still holds.

  • @MichaelSigh Another uneducated observation? So you're able to pinpoint out which exercises within the video occurred in off-season of '09 (which he injured his knee late that season) as opposed to the exercises within the video that occurred in other off-seasons he trained with us; and which of these he "stressed" his knees? Wow, maybe you should come down here and give us a full medical dissertation on joint forces based on your extensive education, experience, and clairvoyant keyboard skills

  • @MichaelSigh Further, gain some understanding of biomechanics, physics, forces, progressions, loads, shear, torque, and the many other factors that goes into designing, individualizing, and progressing a drill before you start giving uneducated opinions on "stress." No matter how trained an elite athlete is if the knee gets hit the wrong way in a contact sport, it's gonna go. Wes has had amazing success becuz of his elite athleticism, and his off-season methods - including his training at BPS

  • @bommaritoperformance Personal attacks asside... Wes Welker's knee gave out trying to make a change in direction and was NOT hit. In fact if you watch the video the injury happened before any contact even took place. And the change of direction he was attempting wasn't even very intense.

  • @MichaelSigh Oh my bad- u can add to the presentation u give us ur extensive training on breaking down full speed actions and COD that occur in milliseconds that you witness on TV with a full analysis of the force application, the ground rxn force, frictional force, the joint load before and milliseconds prior to contact and subsequent injury upon or not upon contact. And the training exercises that occurred months prior to this incident that put undo "stress" on the knee that caused it.

  • @MichaelSigh i blew out my knee playing football when a kid half my size jumbed on my back and i landed funny.... all i can say is shit happens and welkers injury had nothing to do with his training

  • @MichaelSigh

Thats bc the texans turf he was playin on was shit, before the game comments were made about the condition of the field and how it was poorly kept

  • @BostonFan187 AGREED IF YOU DO ANY SPORTS YOU KNOW THAT IF YOUR CHANGING DIRECTION AND YOU SLIP ON A WET SPOT OR THE GROUND HAS DIRT OR THE TURF IS LOOSE YOUR KNEE WILL GIVE IN AND I HAVE HAD TWO SERIOUS KNEE INJURIES DUE TO POOR ASPHALT OR GYM FLOORS THAT CONDENSATE WHEN THE WEATHER IS EXTREME

  • @BostonFan187

Haha, they must model the field after the team in Houston.

  • @bommarito Why all that desperately righteous indignation? ...and complete with tantrum-y(and insulting) speculation about what the op is presumed to not know in various disciplines of science based only on a brief(and not terribly telling) post? Yes, his was a grossly overreaching (implied)conclusion. However, he does (obliquely)raise an interesting point- where do the increased performance promises extracted from high-intensity training and joint health/stability/durability/etc. diverge?

  • @MichaelSigh You can strengthen the muscles that cross the joint but that doesn't change the fact that anterior to posterior (front to back) the knee is not entirely stable. If anything strengthening those muscles will, in a way, increase the chance of injury due to the increased amount of force you are capable of putting into your movements. But that's my theory. You both should be a little more cordial when debating orthopedics. After all most ACL injuries do occur without contact.

  • @MichaelSigh Welker did his entire ACL rehab down with Bommarito Performance and look how he is performing now. He does not even wear a knee brace anymore. Not to mention, football is the most physical game in the world, injuries happen. Pete Bommarito is the BEST performance coach in the country. Let his track record speak for itself. Why do you think Welker went right back down to him for his rehab?

  • @MichaelSigh No kidding! It boggles my mind how little NFL athletes know about strength training.

  • @kiker7sboyfriend Big surprise, kiker7sboyfriend is back. I think everyone is dying to know your background, education, and experience with training; and training with NFL players. Boggles my mind to consistently see haters spend so much time on these forums with no scientific basis on why they don't "like" something; or no belief system of what they do; along with the scientific basis. My advice is spend less time on forums, and more time learning science - probably have a lot more success

  • @kiker7sboyfriend he might be small compared to other nfl players, but he would be huge compared to a normal person, and other than his height, hes not that small compared to other players

  • Looks like 1 Jets fan watched this video!

  • Next HOF

  • Zeke Markshausen is the next Wes Welker...Go look zeke up he plays for the chiefs now, he has really good route running and runs a 4.5-4.6 40yrd dash like Wes Welker..GO CHIEFS!!!!

  • wes isthe best!

  • this guy is by far one of the best slot receivers in the game, it helps that he is catching passes from a great QB but even then he wasn't too bad when he was in miami

  • Lol the dude doesn't blink EVER.

  • @dfoltz717 FUCK CANNOT UNSEE...he has no soul

  • @dfoltz717 he never takes his eye off the ball..this is why lmao

  • @dfoltz717 Actually, he blinks so fast you cant see it

  • @dfoltz717 Yeah he does, watch the video again. he blinks

  • @dfoltz717 he blinked like 40 times in the video dumbass!

  • @dfoltz717 that's why hes a good receiver lol

  • @klassik18 gtfo

  • @klassik18 wes welker can

  • @planefreak3 nah hes white hes not good. Probably can't jump high either

  • @klassik18 im white and im a wide reciever too (highschool)...wes is a beast...if you ever see clips of him playing you would be surprised...

  • @planefreak3 i doubt it

  • @klassik18 hes a slot reciever, just watch and you'll see

  • @klassik18 I was just as surprised when I first saw him play with the patriots, but he's actually pretty good. Quick, and knows how to run routes.

  • @klassik18 Well, Wes Welkers white and hes smoking everybody on the field. Best Slot Receiver in the game BY FAR! its not even a contest with him. once he catches the ball he goes into beast mode and botch leaves people in the dust and runs right through them.

  • He's definitely my favorite receiver in the NFL. He's short, yet he's a total badass. There's no messing with him. And the hits he takes are insane. He's like a cockroach. Take any hit and pop right back up!

  • what machine is he using at :20?

  • 0:20 FAVORITE MACHINE EVER

  • @Bruinsfan54 Glute /ham machine for posterior training

  • @Bruinsfan54 what machine is that?

  • @22EaglesFan thats a reverse hyper machine, works your lower back and makes it ripped lol

  • @22EaglesFan In my highschool's gym its just called the reverse hyper on workout schedules

  • @22EaglesFan In my highschool's gym its just called the reverse hyper on workout schedules..it makes ur lower back much stronger and rlly ripped, helps stabilize heavy weighted squats and stuff

  • @Bruinsfan54 oh alright thanks

  • NOT A PAT FAN BUT SHIT HE IS A BEAST!!!!! THUMBSSSSS UP!

  • @rickygdep18 haha go away.

    Go pats!

  • i hate the pats but this is one of my favorite players

  • Jesus christ his jumping high with that handweight at 0:58 :D

  • One of the toughest dudes in the nfl for sure

  • @Volcomrider2207 I love the Patriots because their players work hard to get competitive. They aren't athletic freaks of nature. Wes Welker is 5'9 and the leading receiver of the nfl? Jeez.

  • hes a beast haha "new lingan patriots"

  • wow he's only as big as me 5"9 185 lbs but the difference is that i am a soldier and he is an NFL player which isss much harder lol...

  • @hybridswimmer shut da fuck up bra i swear ur da biggest dumbass i eva seen gracin the comments , wtf ? u scared ov us den go crawl an dig yahself a hole tah get away bra bra

  • @Hybridswimmer : I say this on behalf of anyone with an ounce of common sense: YOU'RE A MORON.

  • umm Wes Welker and speedy should never be used in the same sentence

  • @DJA216 are you clinically retarded?

  • @PhDFRIZZBI so ur tellin me Wes Welker is fast?

  • @DJA216 youre saying hes slow? why would he return kicks if he was slow.

  • @PhDFRIZZBI i dont know. ask Belichick. he still slow

  • @DJA216 mhm... so true. So why dont you race him?

  • @PhDFRIZZBI Wes Welker is slow...but he's quick and has good agility. He ran a 4.9 forty.

  • @td31g forty time and game speed are two different things.

  • @PhDFRIZZBI yeah thats true. i'm pretty sure that's the way i am. And also when in a game, you don't start with your hand on the ground bent over, unless you're on the line.. good point though.

  • @td31g You're exactly right! I have seen some slow ass W.R, but they could run amazing routes, and had great hands. Fastest I ever ran was a hand timed 40 at a 4.28. I went to college at a camp and ran a 4.37 lazered. However I never went and played college cause I was a dumbass in the class room. The NCAA Clearinghouse and colleges don't want to bother with you if you don't have the grades. Wish I could go back to H.S and know what I know now!!

  • @bfry38 I ran a 3.90 with a torn acl, mcl, and pcl in both knees in 9th grade. I was gona join the NFL, but I decided to become an average dude that talks about my extraordinary accomplishments on the internet where nobody can prove anything.

  • @winniedashit88 Well you know what your right! I have not proved it for you let me look back and find some videos, and I will post them on here just for you. Actually better yet Im not in the best shape right now give me a couple months and I will have someone tape me on my phone, or a nice video of my running a 40 yard dash is that enough proof or do you need more? What exactly do you want me to do? I have a video of me racing 2 other black guys and yes im white and they were fast! do u want

  • @winniedashit88 or w/e. All im saying is what I did and I was trying to make a point for kids to keep up there grades! You don't have to be a smart ass about shit like this, but like I said you let me know what I need to do to prove it to you since I guess im a liar over here!!!!!

  • @DJA216 Wes is not a 4.3 guy, but he damn sure isn't slow...he's more agile and has great lateral quickness....and he's is probably the best WR in the NFL in Decelerating and stopping on a dime! (only real WR/DB's know how value that is)

  • @DJA216 fuck you ya fuckin nigger

  • @BillyArtillery was that necessary? u wouldnt dare say that to my face.im not black to begin with

  • @DJA216 i'd say it to your stupid black ass face

  • @DJA216 Yea he runs a 4.5 in the 40 but watch his highlights. He fucking blows by people and is more agile than anyone in the league. His nickname is Mr.FirstDown for a reason.

  • whats wes's forty?

  • @BrysonSao101 4.6

  • he looks tired and worn-out as shit but this guy is top 5 NFL WR

  • i love to watch welker play.......this is coming from a jets fan

  • Welker is a BEAST!

  • hes by fave player

  • the weighted plyo jumps are ridiculous

  • He has got balls to go there

  • @Hybridswimmer Bro....its 2010..no need to be scared of being around black people..ignorant

  • @wf1623 nah im nt scared just dont go to a place where they out number u 2 to 1. and also dont bring ur white gf either, they will jump and that white ass.

  • @Hybridswimmer Don't be such a clown. The guys you are watching that train here are millionaires or at least 6 figure earners. To them you don't exist. They, including Wes Welker, would literally stare right through you if you walked past them...your girlfriend too..your both invisible in their world..these guys get women you beat off too when your parents are sleep

  • Wes a fuckn beast

  • shut the fuck up hes the best in the league

  • @d3v07 man yous a bitch id lik 2 see u play

  • @d3v07

    fukin faggot

  • 0: 54 whoa!

  • yeas that shit gives u ups nd lots of agility

  • which work out are you talking about? the thing where you jump on the table thing?

  • yea

  • @filth86 - Yeah, that is impressive.

  • poor guy appears to tear his ACL
