I dont think this is a 2003 ML because its interior is below 2001 because no bottons on the stearing wheel and the Km meter is old since I have a 2003 E320 and its pretty different and very technologic sory to say but I used to have a 1996 E320 and your ML looks exactly the same from the inside except for the navigation system
I am a big Mercedes fan. I am planning on what to buy. I like the new ML but really way out of my budget. So I have my eye on the ML500 2003 to 2004. Is the maintenance heavy on the pocket. Or the usual reliable mercedes. My frnd told me that his uncle had one and gave him a hard time. Comments?
I currently own a 2003 ML500 which I purchased with 123, 000 Km. They run great and normally there are no major problems, but if your interested in keeping it babied then i suggest you dont do it. The nameplate is great and it is a pleasure to drive but your constantly worrying something might crap out.

2003-2004 is the best years for the old ML body style. 2002 and 2001 are also fine as long as you get a V8.
