Am going to miss Smallville. It brought Superman not only to the new generation. But it made it more accessible to the main stream audience. Tom Wellington did a brilliant job on being Clark Kent. Michael Rossenbaum as Lex Luthor was also out standing. In ratings wise it dipped [I think] when it focused more on the comic side and less "OC-ish" aka high school drama [it came out roughly the same time period]. As some one I know once said "Smallville de-geekified Superman".

This is a very sweet KO scene! The intensity of the villainess is pretty high here, since the evil Dr. Elaine Fine is preparing to cut Lois up with that scalpel of hers. In the first KO, she is so sure of herself and sure nothiong can go wrong with her plan that she literally walks into the kick, Lois cocking her leg back at the last second and unspringing the foot to face KO. Dr. Fine's is oblivious to it until POW! she gets knocked to the ground.

@dangerfan2005 The second KO is more of a denouement. Evil Dr. Fine is now well aware of the threat Lois poses and picks up her scalpel once again and turns to attack. But she is in a rage and sloppy and Lois' keen senses alert her immediately of impending danger. But before Dr. Fine's sneak attack even gets off the ground, Lois' barefoot kick pops her balloon, KO'ing the villainess definitively. Lois' 'bitch' adds insult to Dr. Fine's undoubtedly serious injuries.

@dangerfan2005 This is just speculation, but having suffered two devastating foot-to-face KO's from lethal Lois, it would indeed be ironic if evil Dr.Elaine Fine needed plastic surgery to repair the damage done to her precious face.  I doubt the level of surgical prowess of the doctors at the Smallville Maximum Security Prison for Dangerous Villainesses would be quite up to Dr. Fine's standards. Imagine a disfigured Dr. Fine lingering in prison for years, nursing a rage for revenge on Lois!
