  • That KFC commercial was such a trip, lol!

  • And here we have a quaint little piece from the 1980s...it's called a dustbuster! ;-)

  • Noxzema WTF?

    Instant Iced Tea?

Is it sad that I miss credit sequences and voiceovers for the shows coming up next?

That ABC News brief WAS pretty long. I guess we are used to the primetime ones that are only about a minute long. Guessing they were longer during the day. Plus, EPIC DRAWN EYEBROWS

    THERESOMETHINABOUTATRAINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

I think that Best music is about 10 years too old for 1987.

  • Wow I remember Best.

  • Housing market down, trade deficits and shit in the Persian Gulf. Still dealing with the same shit.

  • @nkaio5 Pretty sad that aside from apartheid and "President Reagan", you could probably air most of this now and most people wouldn't realize it was over 20 years old.

Well, except for that hair on the newscaster. DAMN that's some 80s.

  • and people descide to burn themselves on purpose to get on commercial? well, anything for money

  • What exactly does "Clean" taste like? (1:14)

  • You've been watching what could be the longest ABC News Brief in history.

  • @viddykiddy18 ??? Three minutes was the standard length.

  • @viddykiddy18 LOL! It pretty much summed up all the news in 1987

  • @viddykiddy18 Not really. Most TV shows at that time ended at six minutes before the hour, so if the One Life to Live soap opera ended at 1:54 PM, then there are six minutes of commercials, credits, station ID's and whatever before the next show started. It used to drive me crazy before Tivo.

  • Foghorn Loghorn is a savage cannibal, to the point where he'll even trick other chickens into mindlessly wandering into a KFC just so he can eat them later.

  • am I the only person that thinks this?

Lipton soup mix ... I think it's gonna have tea in it

nestle water ... I think it's gonna have chocolate in it

hunt's pudding... I think it's gonna have ketchup in it

  • I wonder why more products aren't advertise these days?

back then it seemed like every product on the shelf had a commercial to sell it.

  • Kathleen Sullivan really should've colored her hair

the Noxema ad is really clever

    Lipton Soup Mixes: mmm...sodium

your comment on #1 is funny!

4 men executed in 10 days? geesh

she was trying not to laugh about the Ann Simonton protest

  • @blugreen123 Oh I totally agree w/ you on the hair colour...grey is sooo aging, so drab, blah!!!

  • LOL @ that guy's face in the Lipton commercial. He looks like he's doing something other than drinking iced tea...

  • wait Foghorn Leghorn in a kfc commercial maybe he made a deal with kfc so he wont be cooked next lol

  • Is Foghorn Leghorn being in a KFC commercial an oxymoron, or just irony?

  • BEST products... now THERE's a blast from the past! :D

I remember seeing the BEST building in Sacramento, the building with a large crack in it while I visited up there once during a school trip. It was so cool to see that! Now, I don't even know what's there now. I should take a trip up there just to get a glimpse of it again.

  • I never really thought of Foghorn Leghorn as the sort of person to sell out his own species...

  • @jessiekittygurl My mom's been watching Y&R since day one. She says that back then, they were younger and even more restless. LOL

  • wow i forgot that noxema was used for sun burned skin!!!!!!

  • LOL! I remember getting those nasty sunburns because it wasn't cool to use sunscreen as a teen! My sister once got a real bad one once. A friend and her decided to use baby oil instead of sunscreen.. So, so stupid! LOL! I still remind her of that summer! LOL! Glad to see the old school OLTL credits! Still pissed that ABC is cancelling OLTL, been a fan for 30 some years. Kenny Rogers looked more sexier before he ruined his face with plastic surgery.

  • @Idoljunky32 LOL. My sister used to use Johnson & Johnson baby oil for tanning too in the early eighties; right before she went punk rock.

  • I miss when kenny rogers was a hot commodity.

  • Those Sunburns. Good lord i lol'd
