lol, they weren't "Uber Old" in 2007, at the most they would be a year old, if that. I built pretty much the same PC around the same time this user did, and it was the best that was out at the time, except I had the 7900 GTX, and he has the 7800 GT.

now I got a GTX 260, but still using the FX-57, plan on upgrading to Core i7 920 soon tho.

but yeah these parts weren't that old in 2007.

I will agree the parts are old now, I can say that, I have the same CPU (FX-57), and it bottlenecks my GTX 260.

the CPU is still pretty decent for many games, but for games that are multithreaded like Crysis or GTA IV, single core doesn't cut it.

but it's not like crap, lol it holds it's own on many games :-)
