  • @flowerx473 I have diagrams on my site for this flower too

  • at 4:27 i coudnt flatten the petal ;(

  • me ur fan

  • @LightKyu cool

  • Cool

  • do you do roses?

  • Yes, I have a video for roses here on You Tube

  • very cool...do you come up with the folding pattern yourself?

  • what kind of paper are you using? it sounds so crisp and scrunchy when you fold it

  • Until about a year ago I used thick and shiny paper to print my patterns on, now I use standard copy-paper to fold with.

  • oh..i see. thanx for replying! ^^

  • this flower look cute if the size is smaller, i make it thanks to joostlangeveld, you are great ^^

  • I'm actually working on a book with 10 cute and small origami flower-arrangements right now. Many flowers look great when you make them smaller :)

  • what kind of flower is this?

  • It's just a fantasy-flower

  • hi there..ohh i love the flower..i just wanted to ask you which type of paper do you use to do the origami..im not referring to the colour or pattern but just the type of paper..is it like the normal writing paper or different and where can i find it? if i print the patterns on your site on normal printing paper will it work? also how do u make the flower stems?? thanks so much ure awesome :)

  • I use standard copy or printer paper now. It actually folds better then more expensive paper I've used before. So normal printing paper would be allright for you, I think. I have diagrams for making stems on my website: Choose diagrams in the menu on the right on my home-page, then 'diagrams for stems and leaves' and you'll find diagrams for a stem.

  • fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • where can i find those origami papers?

  • On my website are printable coloured patterns which you can print on your own computer. There's a link to my site on the main-page of my channel. Choose the section 'origami paper patterns' in the menu on the right to go to the page with printable patterns.

  • hmm, when i tried this the folds between the petals stuck out, what did i miss? :S

  • my flower looks retarded...

  • This is another nice flower from your site, and yes, it's great for beginners. I like how you go nice and slow with your video, keeping the folding right in the middle of the frame so we can see exactly what is going on. (ManyYouTube videos teaching origami don't do this.) Your site is a lot of fun, as well!

  • Thank you, I mainly pay attention to these things in my newer videos: Hold the model visible in front of the camera, don't fold to fast and I try to keep my fingers out of the way most times (the last thing is the most tricky)

  • Love this! I had no problem doing it my first time using 2 1/4 inch paper. Good job with the step by step video.

  • thanks!

  • wow your really good at it and the flowers looked very pretty! keep making more videos because they're awesome! this helped alot thanks!

  • I did it!!!

  • Great!!

  • Credit goes to you. You are just so good. I'm actually inspired to do more. I plan to do the snow drop next :)

  • The snowdrop is a nice flower to fold, not difficult to fold but it looks very realistic. I have them in my living-room.

  • Oh, I just finished my snowdrop. You're right, they're very pretty! And they're very easy to make. Thanks to you :) I would like to make some more. Amongst all the other flowers you have here, what do you suggest I do next?

  • Have you tried my tulips yet? They aren't difficult too. There's a link to a video for folding tulips on the main-page of my channel.

  • Okay, I'll try the tulips too and the arum lilly. I'm excited :)

  • Oh yes, the arum lily is nice too, it's easy to fold, maybe the leaves are more difficult to fold then the flowers.

  • Hah hah!, yea, the leaves were more difficult to fold than the flower. But I was patient enough :)

  • I like to walk me a Sunday July 6 two thousand eight

  • Today is Sunday

  • hehee well even tho mine look NOTHING like that

i still got it right ^_^

    mines just ugly

    hehee

  • Just practice a lot until it looks good :)

  • fabulous work! The flowers r very pretty!

  • Easy models can be nice too :)

  • Nice Job (:

    Beautiful flower!

  • nice and easy...it kinda looks vaguely like a mangosteen flower....

  • I just looked with google for pictures of a mangosteen flower. I think the petals of my flower look a bit the same.

  • Thats why i said vaguely...:)Very nice ...That's my first impression when I saw your origami...plus I like mangosteen fruits...:D
