This movie is definitely the weakest in the trilogy, for many reasons. Wesley Snipes spent most of the filming in his trailer so his stand-in got more camera time than him. Basically any shot that did not show Snipes' face was his stand-in/stunt double. David Goyer is a great writer but not a good director. I think the only strong points of this film were Reynolds and Biel's performances. At least they don't seem bored and disinterested like Snipes. A damn shame because Blade 2 was awesome.

I thought this movie was good but it had a few flaws that if fixed would've made it better. For example they shouldn't have tried to make it look like Blade needs any help besides Whistler, and also they didn't have an epic badass scene where Blade goes all out and takes down like seventy bad guys before the final fight. They should've stuck with the original recipe.

Also Blade alwasy works alone so to have one wise cracking side kick and a girl who cannot act for toffees is really undermining the Blade series. I think if they had put more effort into the final installment it would have been stellar.

I watched a couple of the episodes when the first and only season aired on Spike TV and it wasn't all that bad. I heard that b/c it was so big financially, a freshman station like Spike couldn't handle the budget. Also, if anyone's interested, I though Trinity was good, but yeah, the weakest. Jessica and Ryan were great, but had way too much screentime while Kris didn't have enough.

yeah and probably the reason why we never had a Blade 4, this movie was too sucky ! Seriously, some of the fight scenes are goofy, same for the catchlines. In fact I really loved the Nightstalkers. But Blade wasn't very present as he was in the past movies. Blade is the best of em' all, Blade II is great aswell ! You can skip this one, i was very dissapointed by this sequel !
