  • What a stupid tv report. It was obvious that they had no clue what they were talking about.

The track was indeed rented by a group of Ferrari enthusiasts. On the segment where the accident occurred was also the entry zone from the pits to the track. The driver of the Carrera GT reportedly had to swerve to avoid an entering Ferrari, which was given the allowance to go onto the track despite the Porsche approaching. The placement of the concrete barrier is indeed tragic.

  • Typical news reporting... were the 2 deaths in the car, or spectators??

  • Mary Parks looks like a right dirty whore , i bet she can suck a golf ball through a hosepipe

  • At least they took it to the track rather than on the street. Shitty wall placement though.

  • Is the grass okey?

  • i thought this was going to be gta 4

  • Rock fucking solid! Rock fucking solid!, I say again rock fucking solid! Even if the crash was at 70 mph, that car stood up well.

  • @Atheist18505 That gigantic pile of debrit is from the car. Only the concrete wall was "rock fucking solid"

  • next time place tyres infront of concrete

  • because stupid american tracks not safe .... grass grass grass booom ! where is a sand? stupid dead from american idiots..

  • if my porsche carrera gt would look like this after a crash,i would want to die too....

  • No stock road car would've provided the sort of protection needed for the occupants to survive. A purpose-built racing tub would have provided ample protection, even if that had been a square head-on impact. Pretty obvious that it was too much car for the skill set of this poor driver. Goes to show that just because you're rich enough to buy one doesn't mean you're actually good enough to DRIVE one.

  • @993isgawd and what if he did know how to drive one, and it simply was a mechanical failure or just an accident. Because being a good driver obviously doesnt make you invincable.

  • i know what happened they just suck at fuckin driving

  • To anyone else that views this video. If you look from 0:38-1:29 you will notice 2 very large white concrete barriers that have been pushed over 4 feet back, in addition to one being knocked over. Those barriers weigh in excess of 2,000 lbs. each. The amount of energy necessary to move them in such a manner. I doubt even a current 2011 F1 chassis or Sprint Cup chassis could fare well against that wall. The location is just after the infield "kink". My guess is the driver over-compensated.

  • wtf why is there a soocer feild there!!!!!!

  • Needless accident, and not necessarily because the driver was a doofus with no sense of his limited abilities relative to the car's lofty ones -- I mean we all overcook it now and again. There should have been a gravel trap and the wall looks badly placed and poorly angled.

    Captain Hindsight awaaayyy....

  • they should put something else than grass, maby gravel or something. grass doesnt slow down at all...

  • @bamboali- sand

  • R.I.P :( they probably werent wearing their seatbelts :(

  • @Captn777 they probably did

  • Well....... Porsche ain't Ferrari. It was Ferrari club. Some smartass came with Porsche and Ferrari dudes killed!! So obv.

  • richtig so

  • RIP both men and the car.

  • i dont givadamn about the driver... but the poor car!!!! :(

  • @X1ntar0

dumbass. driver´s daughter was just a few month old when she lost her dad. ben keaton was a great guy and is still missed by all of his friends. maybe you should try to use your brain BEFORE using the keyboard.

  • Unbelivable how dangerous this racetrack is! Even the Nürburgring Nordschleife has Tirewalls in almost every corner... The top of all is: They let tourists in streetlegal cars drivin on it. This was really a matter of time... :(

  • poor car!!!

  • porsch is a nice car it`s a german car

  • pinshe pendej@!!!

ke se vaya mucho a la verga

  • I don't think they died because of G because in that case the car should have been completely smashed what hasn't really happened here. Neck and head injuries I think.

  • Well this video is another proof that HANS saves lives. I'm guessing the seat belt didn't do much at 200 MPH, they probably died from neck injuries RIP.

  • I remember this event as I was told while serving as a local officer in the Porsche Club of America...it was a few years back and the driver's family tried to file suit against Porsche because they claim it is marketed as a street legal race car. They also filed suit against the track because the wall placement is notorious right there. I believe they also filed suit against the Ferrari owner's club that hosted them saying that they did not provide proper instruction as a D.E. event.

  • I like how the news tried to make it sound like it's reckless driving without saying it. Kept saying they rented the track to race around going to bout 200mph like stfu skank rather them do 200mph on the track than on the high way

  • the GT looks not so bad...i mean, the driver-cell was still intakt....i think that the G-force kill the people.....the impact musst be very hard...lookt at the wall....R.I.P.

  • as a car lover my self i now a lot about cars and that porche is almost all carbon fiber so they would of lived if thy went slower

  • so sad.

  • Forget the people They totaled a nice car! Jk the people matter but that sucks.

  • since then i believe that they have added tires along that wall in the infield roadcourse

  • That's about the dumbest wall placement I've ever seen. That was an accident waiting to happen.

  • wow it didnt go boom

  • damn look how it moved the wall

  • wing goes up at 80 mph and you can have the wing up all the time even if your not

  • he had to be going over 150 cuz the wing was up on the car

  • the wing comes up at 70mph so it doesnt necesarilly have to have gone up to 150mph

  • @M5IAN The wing can be up all the time.. ;p even when it's not driving ;-)

  • wow ....

  • Ouch, poor car and owner. you can see the 2 pieces of the roof too in 1:01-1:05

  • lol dude you can see the motor sitting agancd the wall have a look u can see the hole it came out of. Wonder what made them loose control? R.I.P

  • what?? Engine in carrera gt is at the back or more likely on middle behind seats.
