@zephranna01 Nah Doogs was alright. Nuthn he did worried me. He just kept to himslef, his old man Gill McDougall, who played for Australia, was an alcoholic who had nuthn, so I guess that made Adam lie a bit to make him look better... We had a pretty good side and made the commonwealth cup semi-final, and Doogs played a part in our success. He has by far done the best out of all of us, so good on him. He could still put on a blue jersey and he would go alright i reckon.
@zephranna01 Do you mean funny as in wierd?? Yeah he was pretty wierd back then. He didint talk to his legs back in school. He wouldve looked pretty silly talking to his skinny legs.
....ran into a gap created by a number of bad reads in Parramatta's defense. The Parramatta players weren't obstructed by a bad line from Kennedy nor were they impeded from tackling Pedan via an illegal shepherd. It looked dodgy because the gap formed right behind the decoy runner which is unusual. Despite this it was a perfectly legal try.
The reason why the first Pedan try looks like an obstruction is because the gap created by Kennedy's decoy run happened to be right behind him. Usually decoy runners divert defenders to the side and away from the ball carrier. On this instance the gap created was right behind Kennedy. If Kennedy had changed his line and interfered with the defenders, it would have been an obstruction. If Pedan ran right behind Kennedy and used him as a shield it would have been a shepherd. As it turns out he....
I remember this day like it was yesterday, I was at Greater Union Glendale cinema watching this and I can still remember the day the knights won and everyone in the theatre was cheering and going nutz. we had a party at wests league club that night and
celebrated until 1 AM. I was only 8 years old when that happened and i am unable to
wait until the Knights make the Grand Final and celebrate like 10 years ago!
So this was played 19 days after the September 11 attacks.

Knights won't be back 2011. You know why? Because, 1, they can't beat North Queensland without Thurston. Hopeless.

Parramatta of 2001 were the equal of Manly in 1995. Dominate the entire year but crash and burn in the one that really matters.
