Who would want to live in California with all those dirty hippies, left wing socalist (yet somehow Nazi) liberals and nasty, nasty earthquakes. I'm staying in good old Marvelous Melbourne, jewel of the south.
Ha ha ha ....Naaah it is not what you think it might be. On a more serious note...it is heart wrenching to see deserted buildings and foreclosed homes....each has a story to tell....some more tragic than the others..so many hardworking people's lives changed forever!!! your videos (save the cat mating one) make me sad...but also gives me the "real picture" ...thanks a lot for the effort that you put in to bring us all this.....careful when u walk into dilapidatd buildings.. TC :)
Something else Interesting, I couldnt find a listing for this place. I could find its place on the map but that is it. I went through some of his info and he was Hooked up with Remax realtors also. So cross referenced them and thier site was disabled. So I went dierectly to the site of Exit Realty and didnt find Wayne assaciated with them. I called the office number and come up with a voice mail box not in connection to Exit Realty nor Wayne Furlong. I dunno man , something smells fishy!
since getting my real estate license in 2002 i went from living in my car in Singer island to the #1 agent in exit realty north America out of 40,000 agents in 2005 and repeat in 2006 not bad for a guy who never sold a thing before real estate .one of the thing I'm good at is putting myself in the buyers or seller shoes as this is the reason i feel I'm the best at helping my clients .they want something i try my best to get it,
@Unsharpened Odd, the area code in Rotonda is 941 and 239 is for Cape Coral, Ft Myers, and Naples nearby. Area code 772 is on this coast, Port St Lucie, Ft Pierce, Sebastian. I didn't even notice that until now...fishy business maybe?
Well, Californias economy is bad, but you guys are in a lot worse shape. California is the wealthiest area in the entire world believe it or not. Its the political structure and liberalism and illegal aliens that have screwed things up. There is more hope in california if the politics changed. That wont happen though so it will remain a cesspool and continue to decline. Florida doesn't have the economic base that california does so they have their work cut out for them.
@wvolson Things are better in my area too, the Space Coast. But southwest Florida is the number 1 spot in America for foreclosures. I'll try to get down to Ft Myers and/or Cape Coral one of these days to film that.
Turn it into a race track and I will move there and buy a house trackside.

@Unsharpened Typical...it will probably sit empty like this for years until it has to be torn down.

@dragasoni These lots will sit empty for years. There is no money to be made there from what I know. Im on the east coast and its hard to make money.

@Unsharpened Real Estate sold itself in 2004, 2005, and 2006 here. I'd be more interested to see how much he is selling now.
