On DELL'S site it doesnt say LED or WLED that's why I asked.. Only the Inspiron 14 says WLED

It doesn't have WLED, the more expensive Inspiron 13z has WLED, as well as the new edition of the Inspiron 13 that is coming out, and is already out in Singapore/Malaysia/India - It has onboard radeon graphics and a WLED screen. Really expensive though.

I got my brand new with a 320 gig hard drive, and the same processor and 4 gigs of ram, but brand new for 700 from staples but it was 200 off so that explains it obviously

Is your swap partition large enough to allow hibernation? The hibernation file is stored on the swap partition, so if it's not large enough, hibernation won't work. I had the same problem but now hibernation works great in Jaunty on my laptop. Btw, hibernation on Ubuntu sucks compared to Windows. Takes way longer both hibernating and resuming from hibernate.

i just recentlley got this laptop and i love it, it has all of the tings i need handles programs well and is also quite fast, the only game ive loaded on is battlefield 1942 which runs perfectly

Hey, I need help of people with experience.

I am looking for a computer I can use for school, although I do want it to run fairly fast. Because it's for school, I need at least 4 hours of battery life (the Inspiron 13 is perfect for battery life).

Price is my biggest issue. Something around 300 EUROS would be perfect? Please, anybody that has any ideas send me a message with suggestions of laptops. For now, I'm considering the Inspiron 13.

That app is the free version of Object Dock. You can tell it to put the dock anywhere you like. Very nice and free app.

It's a full size keyboard, which was one of the most important factors in me buying it. I really like Dell's laptop keyboards. This is very comfortable to use. I like it more and more, the more I use it.

I've not tried any gaming. I wouldn't imagine it would handle too much but it handles HD vid fine and runs Win7 Aero and Ubuntu visuals like a charm.

I actually bought this because I'm going to grad school next spring. I think its perfect for college. Small form factor, not too heavy and insane battery life.

Not sure about its gaming capabilities. On the windows performance charts I think the graphics got a 3.2.
