They inject 'stuff' into the old wells because after the half-way point, you lose the pressure. They inject sea water to bump up the pressure to get the last half.
God never promised us oil. He gave us a brain, and two feet. We had better learn to use them, unless you have the cash for $10.00 a gallon gas (and probably no job).
Abiotic oil is an interesting theory but unfortunatly no oilwell to date have had increased production due to abiotic oil instead they have manage to extract more oil because of newer better technology, thats why the have drilled in old wells.
"See I been learnin' about this - I'm not just some backwoods ... some backwoods hill-billy, you know ... makin' stuff up ..." Well, that was certainly reassuring - for a minute there I thought this guy was, in fact, just some home-schooled "backwoods hill-billy" with a third grade education, sittin' around chewin' tobacco and "makin' stuff up". Nice to know he's actually been "learnin' about this" and can explain it so convincingly. And the banjo really helps.
@roboeco, the Deep Hot Biosphere is God's work! Amen to that.
They knew of this oil even in the days of Canaan where it mentions that which shall riseth from below, unknown to the common sinner, yet it shall be his own salvation.
"Drivin' over Kanan, singin' to my soul. There's people out there turnin' oil into gold..."
So by this definition the earth is filled with oil, and not magma. ok.. that is interesting.. theory.
But the current popular theory that oil comes from fossils has this to support it "All unrefined oil carries microscopic evidence of the organisms from which it was formed. These organisms can be traced through the fossil record to specific time periods when quantities of oil were formed."
So explain to me how this works into your theory.. let me guess. god did it right....? 6000 years ago....
You started off your sentence with a lower case y. Classic neo-con hypocrisy. Also, its typical that you attack his grammar instead of responding to his point.
This video does nothing but confuse. The creator attempts to present the argument as being about oil wells, creating a scare-crow he can attack and ignoring the actual law of peak resources:
For finite resources given equal effort production will follow a gaussian distribution until effective depletion.
You need to understandPeak Oil is when the world cant possibly produce any more oil in a single day. Some say we have hit that others say we still have time. Even with these new discoveries theres no way that we can match the "Peak Production" ever again which means that as demand grows produciton will fall short. Your theory of abiotic streams is not true. Those Oil fields where created from foliage under intense heat and pressure over millions of years not fed by this abiotic fantasy land.
Even if he buys into his own story, what part of "little" feeder streams doesn't he understand? Even if wells do replenish themselves, as some seem to do, it is a SLOW process! The well will never produce as it first did. Meanwhile, demand keeps increasing. Most underground water reservoirs do replenish, but they can still run dry and not be able to sustain demand.
@HorseCents so just to be clear, you believe that by 2440 we can extract an amount of oil with mass greater than the total mass of the entire planet, every single day?
Whether the oil is biotic or abiotic is irrelevant. Even if the oil is created instantly, there is still going to be a maximum limit to how fast we can extract it from the earth. We call this the PEAK, since its the maximum amount of production.
@berin99, I never made such claims, you did. But according to Lindsey Williams there is at least 400 years of oil below Gull Island AK. We will both die long before it can be burned. The drilling has been blocked on Gull Island because environmentalists want to protect a rare arctic fern. That's how socialism is destroying this great land.
@HorseCents So do you believe that there is some maximum amount of barrels of oil per day that we can extract from the ground? We're not talking about running out of oil, just maxing out how fast we can pull it out of the ground.
@HorseCents So do you believe that there is some maximum amount of barrels of oil per day that we can extract from the ground? We're not talking about running out of oil, just maxing out how fast we can pull it out of the ground.
Yeah kind of hokey. Still trying to make broad generalizations that anyone with a southern accent is unintelligent and stupid. Funny it comes from the people who supposedly support "equality" and are against discrimination.
I like your approach, I admire your presentations, especially the fact that you aren't afraid to use the Bible as a source material. Great stuff, I'm your newest sub!
If there is so much oil, why has global oil production been steadily declining over past 30 years? If there is a god, why is god content to be worshipped solely by the idiots of the world?
I feel dumber for watching this. You people had better think for yourselves. Do some research you will see that idiots like this do not have a clue. The end of cheap oil is upon us.
lol this video was made by a moronic southern state fuckhead that actually thinks oil is a renewable resource. uve screwed urself get over it. oil can last another 1000 years max. then what? by that time theyll be no trees left or oil so people certainly wont be living they way we do now. grow up you cousin lovin hicks.
abiotic oil is not a scientific theory. you need to look at what the definition of theory vs. the definition of hypothesis. Abiotic oil had support until the end of the 20th century when people realized it was complete horse shit. If there was a massive reservoir under the earth where all or many oil fields connected then there would be wells that aren't peaking or reaching peak, and those wells would lose pressure simultaneously. Peak Oil is a scientific theory (which basically means that it...
@TheRepublicOfUngeria ...has so much evidential support that the scientific community accepts it as the best, most factual explanation for the phenomena that it describes). You aren't disproving Peak Oil Theory, just stating that it will occur much later by hypothesizing an absurd supply that has no evidence to back up it's existence.
Abiotic oil is real, but there is a reason why the earth has it. It is the lubricant that the continental plates float upon. It is right below the earth's crust. We should not be disturbing that geological mechanism. Besides, air pollution is still an issue. I hate smog. Ever been to China? They can cut their air with a knife. It's disgusting. Water gets polluted too... especially if you drill a super deep well in the ocean. But of course who would be stupid enough to... oh yeah.
This alleged "abiotic" oil reserve hasn't refilled the oilfields tapped by the oil wells of Pennsylvania. Nor has it refilled the oilfields of Texas. It's a crank theory.
Fact is, the "Peak Oil" theory successfully predicted when US oil production would begin to fall, almost to the exact year.
I'm guessing this video is a joke. No one can be this ignorant. Peak Oil is fact dumb ass. Oil is finite. You probably also think the world is flat? Think the world was made by "god"? Made in 6000 years? Planted fossils to test your faith? Planted stars to make the sky pretty?
Thank God. Somebody who knows what they're talking about!! I will use Los Angeles as an example. The Los Angeles City oilfield is an oilfield long thought to be played out, and a school was built on top of the field in 1999. Well, the relief wells were abandoned. Now, the field is under pressure again from oil. The La Brea tar pit parking area was paved over in 1998. In 1999, the areas paved buckled due to the crude coming up. Oil seeps in L.A. are everywhere and plentiful, thank God.
@GilbertLA63, I think it was Rush or maybe Sean who said that the oil under Los Angeles and Kern County alone could supply the whole U.S. for 17 years! The reason it isn't being drilled is because of hippie sit-ins above the well locations, plus ESA protection of the spiny backed vernal toad.
Only God has the authority to tell us when to stop drilling for His bounty. Amen.
Yea old horsecents is right the countrys oldest oil well in Rouseville, Pennsylvania is still pumping the black stuff after all these years. In the 1850's it started producing 20 barrrels a day. Now the run the pump ever other day and get 7 to 10 barrels of oil. At that rate 17 people in Pennsylvania will be able to run their lawnmovers long after dooms day begins....wise up people History will not be mocked in such a way. The USA reached peak oil in 1970, no Abiotic oil wells in our country?
"The abiotic oil it has never have been disprouved". Is this scientific? Ah, ok. So let's say the same about UFO, Gods, Martians... Now I have seen the light. I don't care about peak oil. I can trust that Horus would solve the problem. Horus' existence has never been disprouved. By the way peack oil theory doesn'r relly care about pressure. Just says that if we exploit a finite resource, it will comes to an end, soon or later. It doesn't look such an insane thought,
weak abiotic theory says that if oil does exist in the mantle, it is not generating any faster than fossil oil. this means that it has no consequences because it will not refill oil wells in the quick time that you are talking about. I suggest reading scientific essays which DISPROVE abiotic theory
the abiotic theory that science supports is "weak abiotic", you are talking about "strong abiotic" which has no scientific/scholarly support. Ugo Bardi says, "the abiotic theory is irrelevant to the debate about peak oil and it would not be worth discussing were it not for its political aspects."
Abiotic Oil is basically a remnant of the 19th century theory of oil formation. It's been soooo debunked. But let's assume that in spite of all that there are those quasi-infinite deep resources. As the bible pusher you usually are, aren't you afraid that perhaps the devil is sitting at the valve control of those reservoirs and asking for a price to refill the reservoirs at 5000 ft? Silly question? - This question is only as pathetic as what you're selling here as science.
@HorseCents This theory is just pathetic & a theory is not a fact. Oil is made of digested organic material- it is ancient solar energy & takes millions of years to regenerate. Unless the planet is Billions of years older than currently known, there is a finite supply. How did the organic material get into the Abiotic reservoir? More importantly, burning petroleum causes pollution that degrade plant & animal DNA so it's a STUPID fuel to use. Man's biggest problem is SHORTSIGHTEDNESS.
The peak oil theory is utterly concrete. It deals in factual quantities and rates. The issue is to get the true figure of production from suppliers which has/is difficult.
Peak oil doesn't lend itself readily to myth. The theory is dealing with actual figures
Hubbert predicted that US production would peak in the early 1970's and he was ridiculed. He turned out be correct. In Australia oil production has peaked. You just have to look at the figures.No.Myth does not sit well with the idea of peak oil
I honestly never really bought the peak oil bull. I graduated with an environmental concentration and looking back, most of it was such a load of crap.
This here is the truth! You might want to talk about the danger of wind power too! I heard somewhere that if we put up too many windmills, they could blow the earth out of its orbit. Heck, we don't even know where wind comes from. Dangerous technology imho. Great vid!!! Keep the faith, and keep 'em coming!!!
Brother, I believe you and have even bought the book by Thomas Gold. We know that God sustains all life on Earth and not Exxon Mobile and God could sustain it for eons upon eons, but in fact God is making a short work of this Creation and Redemption and the End of Sin so we won't be needing all that oil anyway : ) Jesus is returning and All Life shall flow from Him. I appreciate your humble spirit and your High IQ because you know Truth when you hear it and just as important Lies
this is probobly one of the most ridiculous things i have ever seen. Soo our creater wants us to keep drilling for more oil?? If you actually read the entire bible God always communicates a sustainable way of living. Not one in which our goal is to consume consume consume... the human population has grown by 600% since the start of the industrial revolution, which is unprecedented. Now how long can we seriously keep this thing going?? This plastic existence is an abomination
These liberals are still spouting this crap? We'll have oil right into the 67th century.
I must say, I do like your name. It reminds me partner of a cross between "HorseShit" and "NonSense" which I thought was very clever because you're the only one talking sense. Its these damn liberals and their followers who are spouting horseshit and talking nonsense!
Abiotic can't be proven. But there is a tremendous amount of oil left in the world today. Some of it is just more expensive to access then what we are accustomed to.
Remember "expensive" is a term that is entirely dependent on energy. Remove energy and expensive will take on a whole new meaning. People need to learn to think in terms of net energy, Energy Return on Energy Investment, and the fact that civilization lives on surplus energy.
This smacks of a disinfo campaign. This guy tries to discredit by associating his "Hee-Haw" put-on voice with Lindsey Williams and so drive off any intellectual consideration of the truths Linsdey exposed.
The structure of this guy's narrative thread and his cadence are at odds with his "folksy" grammar and too intellectual to be any match to the HillBilly accent he mimics. The intention here is to smear Lindsey as a "loon" by praising him, replete with canned banjo music in the background.
"Abiotic oil" is old hat and has repeatedly been dis-proven. Look it up on Wikipedia, then read some of the references. And you DID mention the bible many times despite your claim otherwise...
Never dry up? I guess that's why the US production is half of what it used to be on the top. You make just as much sense as the Jehovah witness guys lol
Yeehaw cousin Cleedus, I's gotta get me one of them belivin sticks that yous been talkin bout. Abiotic oil. Feeders. Seriously? Don't you think woith the economy in ruins and the price of oil at a gazillion dollars a barrel they wluld be investigating this NOW???
I love you, HorseCents. I really do. I'm so glad yer well is still producing. I cannot believe you're talking about Lindsay Williams, but dagnabit, I just love you. You made me LOL, like for real, and me love you long time now. What an amazing work this is. HA ha ha...much love and respect from Janet Detwiler.
I wished you were right. What I thought that in 1971, the lower 48 states had a production of 20 million barrels a day, now it is about 5 million. So you may have all the faith you want you will not change reality, just like the amputee will not see his limb grow back weather it the most religious person or not.
@KrunchyJD It is called the power of believing. It is when someone wishes something so much that it becomes reality in his own mind (you can also call it denial). The end of oil is such a horrible outcome, that pretending that it is not coming can be comforting.
@deckadad1 wait sorry i looked up abiotic oil and i didnt know it might exist... but still, he said the oil was in the middle of the earth... wherre all that hot iron core is...
lol, funny guy, real comedian here.

Amen.

"It's never been disproven as a concept" - LMFAO!!
Thanks for doing another one of these parodies :).

you are wrong.. i have an experiment that will show you:
1. put some water in a glass. ( the water symbolises the oil and the glass is the earth)
2. take a straw and drink the water( the straw is the oil pump)
3. after a while, therre will not be annymore water because you drank it all.
THE END!! lol

this is probobly one of the most ridiculous things i have ever seen.

Some of it is just more expensive to access then what we are accustomed to.
mcbain434444 8 months ago
@mcbain434444

I wished you were right. What I thought that in 1971, the lower 48 states had a production of 20 million barrels a day, now it is about 5 million. So you may have all the faith you want you will not change reality, just like the amputee will not see his limb grow back weather it the most religious person or not.

This is clearly nonsense, but the sad thing is many people believe the kind of crap that he was saying.
KrunchyJD 10 months ago
@KrunchyJD It is called the power of believing. It is when someone wishes something so much that it becomes reality in his own mind (you can also call it denial). The end of oil is such a horrible outcome, that pretending that it is not coming can be comforting.

Good video. Keep fighting the good fight!
When will these liberals finally see sense and realise that Jesus wants us to drench him in oil?
Drill, drill, drill, I say.
