The well will never produce as it first did. Meanwhile, demand keeps increasing. Most underground water reservoirs do replenish, but they can still run dry and not be able to sustain demand.

The Los Angeles City oilfield is an oilfield long thought to be played out, and a school was built on top of the field in 1999. Well, the relief wells were abandoned. Now, the field is under pressure again from oil. The La Brea tar pit parking area was paved over in 1998. In 1999, the areas paved buckled due to the crude coming up. Oil seeps in L.A. are everywhere and plentiful, thank God.

Now the run the pump ever other day and get 7 to 10 barrels of oil.
