Eddie shouldn't have gone to NAMM. He obviously is unprepared and doesn't really want to be doing this. He is so unenthusiastic (evidenced by his demeanor & energy level). IMO he is above this kind of thing. Eddie is not just a guitar hero, he is a rock legend. This kind of situation simply doesn't work for him, IMO. This whole series of video clips is a bummer to watch. I keep hoping Eddie gets into a groove, but he never does...too bad. He is a living legend...this situation just aint right!

I get where you are coming from, but I don't entirely agree with that logic. Someone doesn't have to be a guitar genius (like Eddie, who IS a guitar genius) to to track the trajectory of his work. There are flashes of brilliance in his playing here, but he doesn't seem to be as consistently great as he used to be. Also, someone doesn't have to sell millions of records to have a valid opinion. Had it been a prepared event he would've left the people with there jaws wide open, even today.
