  • i'm having problems bring my knees up too my chest any suggestion anyone.

  • hey this vid is actually very helpful

  • thanks dude. this helps

  • dammit i cant the damn fear!!! you got any tips for that men?

  • i would do it on a mat

  • that was pretty sweet =)

  • its because their asian and their lack of dick size allows them to move and spin faster

  • haha

  • @ofeelia78 well im pretty sure i have my endowment from my portugese heritage but honestly bro i think it helps me spin, the weight of it helps compensate. the japanese gives me my dexterity and awareness needed for flips and tricks. idk, anyways, the point im trying to make is you seem to be very concerned about my dick size. you should ask your girl...or your sister...or your mom. anyone of them actually, they were all there.

    haha...drunk summer nights.

  • I take it back, Ive seen better tutorials...

  • The music is too fukkin loud to hear you that easily, its drowning out ur voice. Nice tutorial though.

  • doin round-offs alone is kinda...... lol

  • @mns145

youll never learn if you cant learn to drop your ego.

that goes for anything in life.

doing roundoffs by my self in my backyard lead to me doing backflips off of houses. think about it.

  • I want to know how the Suburban Ninja in the tree got up there in the first place.

  • cool tutorial on a back flip but the only thing is that u coulda made it alil shorter and kept it on the basic steps..bend..swing arms..jump..lean back(dont look back so earlie)..tuck till seen the ground..land..over all tho the video waz ac great video

    pl comment back

  • eww. the guy that did the backflip on the tramp pretty much mooned the camera:|:S

  • thanks dude my mind is stoping me doing the flip not body lol cheers

  • dude, why do you put music in that is louder than you speaking?!?! if you are giving directions we should be able to hear them dontcha think. also, you dont seem to know the terminology for what you are doing. seems easy to do once you get past the "i am going to die" part....thanks

  • the way i did it is start with 2 mats or mattresses then 1 then when you get comfortable just go for it

    thats what i did

  • its super easy

  • hehe lotus ninja

  • is it any harder to do it straight on a mat cuz i have a mat and my feet sink in and i can only land on my knees should i have a piece of wood level with hit plz help

  • make a tutorial on tucking with better explaintion i just can't do that tucking i can do a backflip but can' tuck in it i'll do it as a backhandspring.

  • i watched this tutorial 1 year ago and now look at me!!!

  • you arent a ninga

  • I like eggs

  • I've been wondering whether there's a technique for executing this for a while now, thanks a lot. I'll definitely try... someplace soft.

    Btw, nice katanas.

  • ffs! i cant get over the fear!!!!!!

  • im gunna try a backflip at school tomoz im only 13 never tried on my life

    im kinda crazy Russian ninja

    C-R-N

  • I don't understand Me is French Sorry !!

  • I am french noob...

  • Dude, can like overweight kids do this too?

Like, i'm overweight BUT i am determined to learn this and I am pretty active, i'm just a big dude.

  • I've seen plenty of hevier set people do flips...

A coach at my sister's old cheer gym was probably 5'8" and weighed 200, but could do roundoff backhandspring double fulls.

And just a couple weeks ago, I went to an open gym down in LA, and there was this big football player guy that these other fools were teaching...he was probably like 6'1" and a good 230 lbs, and learned a cheat gainer (which is harder than a standing backflip) within like two hours.

  • So yeah...over weight kids can, it just depends on how dedicated to it you are I suppose.

    =D

  • super cool vid just 4 futer refrnence parkourist is not a word there called tracuer and if u cant pronouce that its traycer

  • Well, technically, parkour isn't even a word. Haha...but yeah, I got you man.

  • lol true

  • nice tutorial thanks

  • those swords are sick!! nice instructional vid

  • haha this is cool! im trying to learn bboy stuff thx!

  • hujowe

  • i tried it off this video and landed on my neck and they had to take me to the hostpital on the strecher and now i have a nack brace. just jokeing lol!!!

  • haha shit i really thought you were serious

    fuuuck

    lol

  • I tried this and have been in a weel chair since 2005

    lol

chek my vids i am almost doing dubles oot side lol

  • hehehehehe im going to get myself killed!!!

  • please don't

    haha

  • hahaahlol why not¿

  • Cause I'm God and I say so. Yes, it is true.

  • But which one is better Sony Vegas .8 or Sony Vegas .7 can you tell me because i am going to study video editing when i get to college i am still in the 10th but can you tell me which one is better cause you now how to do great effects on your videos .

  • I have both, but I just use 7 because I am more used to it, but I'm sure 8 is better in some ways.

Thats cool man...In June I am moving up to San Fran to go to the Academy of Art University to study Directing.

  • You do you know any good programs for creating movies instead of windows movie maker cause it sucks can you tell me different programs of movie making videos .

  • I use Sony Vegas...it costs a bit of money, but if you know how to use the internet, you can easily download it for free.

  • i do standing back tucks and i cant even do a round-off. and i didnt have a spotter when i learned how to do them, i just jumped down a grass slope

  • i learned the same way as you, but the way i demonstrate in the video is the easiest and safest way.

  • thx m8 helped alot =P... but plz check out my backflips on me accounmt nd leave sum comments on how i can learn it on da ground plz p.s. i can alredy do them with a a spotter =D... well done m8 helped alot!!

  • bah que malo XDD eso lo hago yo con la polla!

  • Dude man how long before u sucessfully pulled off a backflip i mean i aint got that fear of pain that shits fun but i never get the full height that i need or just cant get the tuck i landed on my neck a few times but im just to much of a wreckhead to care about that lol,

  • oh so only boys can do it? loser.

  • who ever said that? lol

the thing about cheerleaders was just an example of who this tutorial is not designed for...meaning people that arent used to throwing around their body and stuff

  • Hey...im afraid i'll land wrong...eg. on head or something like that :-(

  • i watched this video and today i finally did it myself, without needing a spotter in the first place. Peoples worst fear is.. well.. fear. The fear of going backwards. its really nothing to be scared of. People find frontflips alot simpler, since you know you're not gonna land on your head, because you tuck it in straight away. Backflips are 10x easier to land than a frontflip, trust me. Click my name, i got my backflip on record.

  • congrats!

yeah you are completely right...the only really hard thing about a backflip is the fear...its so much easier than a front after you get over the fear because backflips are basically all technique, and frontflips are all muscle

  • Yeah frontflips are hard man.. i just land on my back. Anyway, thanks for uploading the video

  • how many vids did u post this on

  • 4, the ones i watched to help me backflip. Count them rather than asking me next time

  • no thanks, id rather not, and dont try 2 tell me wat 2 do next time

  • how about you stop thinking you're amazing when really you suck ass

  • resorting 2 insults (sigh) how childish, chill dude and i never said or implied that i thought i was "amazing"... Why does everyone talk, i mean type, tough over the internet anyway? it gets annoying after a while.

  • if you havent noticed, that's exactly what you're doing, talking tough over the internet. lets flashback onto "id rather not, and dont try 2 tell me wat 2 do next time" shall we?

I'm not childish enough to carry on this pathetic argument, especially on someone else's video, im sure they dont want us to.

  • agreed, but "id rather not, and dont try 2 tell me wat 2 do next time" was a response 2 your "Count them rather than asking me next time". i was not talking tough

  • alright alright

  • son of a f*** i almost died wen i tried it ... ok mybe not die but it hurt

  • You talk too much.

  • then don't watch the video. lol

  • Hey, cut us some slack. Not all of us have such an all-encompassing username as you. Sorry, I just had to take that opportunity.

    Nice video, lotusninja.

  • lol ur like "Get a spotter , PLEASE!!!" lol

  • haha

  • Can u make a front flip tutorial... =)

  • yea umm ... your no ninja. and dont quit your day job.

  • and you are? lol

  • heyy can you show us more tricks ^^

  • "the first thing u want to do is get one some close" no ill just jump naked, but thanks

  • it looks really hard i dont think i can jump high enough

  • works! haha im like a ninja lol not rlly but still good job

  • ill pracctice this on somewhere soft..."ninja in training"

  • Hey you're pretty good, do you think you could give me some pointers on mine?...I have like 3 vids.

  • you if you combine gymnasticks in tkd together you will become better trust me cause in tkd your work out and in gymnasticks you get your body stronger and your jump gets hire d and you be awsome y

  • lol totally agreed =P tkd is totally awesome xD

  • thanks man, i have been trying to do a running front flip, but i just couldn't commit, so i read that you should be able to do a front handspring, and a front roll well, before you should really try to do the front flip

  • is it more dangerous to do a frontflip or backflip??

  • both are dangerous if you don't know what you are doing

though people do tend to hurt them selves more back flipping...but its mainly cause they psych them selves out and bail.

  • may I contact u on msn plz? :D admin at skitza (dot) net , ty!

  • you nice vid man it help me you i have a question what do you practice first when you start gymnastics i now how to strech and that crap cause i practice tkd what do day teach at first can you tell and how long your suppose to practice to star learnig flips

  • To tell you the truth, I really don't know what works.

    I don't properly practice...

I imagine the best thing to do would be stretch/warm-up for 15 min, then do basic moves leading up into the flips...flips for a bout a half an hour...then 10-15 min cool-down/stretch period

  • dude then how you learn the backflip you learnd it own your own or you did gymnastics to learn it

  • I took some tumbling classes at my sister's old cheer gym for a couple months...but it was never a set thing.

  • Parkourists? Clearly a guy who has done his research

  • I ment to put traceurs

  • And Musics are :S?

  • good vid

  • yea u should make another vid..like a freestyle kind. and show bloopers at the end lol...

    nice vid =D

  • I can do backflips off diving boards...but never want to do it off anything else...i'v seen too many videos of people breaking there toes and landing on there heads....i'm happy with just doing off a diving boards

  • if u can do it off that u cab do it on grass what difference that u know water under u, u already over came the fear of flipping not see what u doing

  • unreal tutorial m8,.helped me alot--you should post some more vids on more of your tricks,??

  • thanks man...i'm glad i could help...

i wanna make more tutorials on more tricks...but im lazy. haha...i'll make em eventually. =D

  • hey man you should have added team "sideswipe" to backflips in action near the end, there so cool you should check them out.

  • sorry to say that, bout you are not doing it right.

you should be looking forward as long as you can and then flip.

You are whipping it in this tutorial (so am I) and you should try to stall the flip a bit more, cause youll get shitload of air that way.

    Cheers!

  • i know...thanks...i made this tutorial back when i basically first learned it

i still do it a little bit...but not nearly as much anymore

  • well thnx dude for the help it realy works :D:D

  • Hey, I got a question.

If doing it off of a diving board without jumping in the air with the diving board and landing on your back in the water after one complete rotation, does that give me a good chance of landing on my feet on flat ground?

  • it depends on how springy the diving board is, and how high off the water it is

you should try doing it off the side of the pool in...you can compare that better than off a diving board, since it gives you more height, and more jump...

but dont hurt your self!! lol

  • HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA..thats the most stupid question Ive ever heard.

  • dude i have 2 questions....

first question is...whats the name of the first song and waht band?lol and second one is a little lame do u close your eyes while doing the back flip?

  • first question: shinobi vs dragon ninja - lostprophets

it says it in the video info on the left, and at the end of the video. lol

question 2: i really have no idea. haha...i think i leave them open, but im not entirely sure...haha

  • i can do a backflip but i cant land it i can do a handspring and land it but i need to land the backflip

  • ok, thanksa ton.

  • oh shit i'm scared

  • Should I practice on my trampoline, like to get the technique down or should i try in sand or something?

  • trampolines are always good for practicing technique, but don't too used to the trampoline, cause ground tech is a lil different, and takes more power

  • huh nice one. I think I'll try the backflip. my main problems on previous failed attempts were putting my head all the way back and not crouching enough. I think for now I'll do random karate around the house and beat up that rubber body at sports chalet when I can :)

  • thanks

  • is it good if i practice my backflip from the deck in the the pool?

  • it will help you develop the technique...just dont get too used to doing it that way, cause you might get too comfortable knowing that you're just doing it into a pool then when you take it to the ground, you might get scared...

  • Why the hell would you make a tutorial for a move you obviously don't master?

  • Just the same, why the hell would you make a tutorial on how to suck cock when you obviously haven't mastered it yet?

    Oh wait, you have.

    Damn.

I tried to be all tight making a reverse question to make you feel stupid, but I forgot, you love the cock.

I bow my head in shame.

  • your backflips are the same as mine.

  • You should make a roundoff tutorial :)

  • Over summer I wanna try making a bunch of tutorials...

And one is going to be a Intro to Tricking tutorial...which includes basic rolls, cartwheels, roundoffs and all the basics and what not.

  • Thanks man. I am a bboy I was really looking for something like this.

  • no prob man

  • ouch i blame ? umm me lol

i really try and in one week i could do it by myself

  • ok i was in gymnastics to get better at wrestling and i learn every thing in this video there and it really isnt a hard trick now try a frontflip

  • frontflips are like 7x easier to learn than backflips

even though they are physically harder, they are way easier to get over mentally because you are not going backwards

  • ok

i will next time i need your advice

    thanks

  • oh ok

i'll do my best to tuck my arms

if i can't i'll just try it without.

    thanks for the info

do u want me to just ask u for tips on myspace?

    i recently added u

or do u prefer this way?

  • go ahead and message me on myspace about it

    its easier

  • oh, i saw what i was doing wrong

i got the knee tuck down, i just can't grab them fast enough.

do i HAVE to tuck my arms also to learn the backflip?

  • when you first learn it, it is best to, but it is not required

  • well, i'm not overweight or anything, i'm fit.

    but i'm kinda heavy set

what i'm saying is, after i jump and lean, when i try to bring my knees up, it kinda isolates me from rotating

maybe i'm trying to tuck too hard, or i'm doing it too early

    what do u think?

  • how much practice does it take in a backflip to do one without having to tuck your knees?

it seems like alot of people in the last part of your video don't have to.

it's hard for me to tuck my knees without messing myself up somehow.

    any tips?

  • before you learn to do a backflip without a tuck, you need to learn one with a tuck...

what do you mean you mess your self up when you tuck?

  • Yeah, big fan of the group you got going on, also. Please check your messages.

  • What happened to the farmers tan? :D

  • haha

    saw the first one eh?

  • errr ye i can do backflips on matt and things at school but on the ground i land on my knees do u haveany tips

  • work out your legs and abbs

leg strength will allow you to jump higher

core (abbs) strength will allow you to spin faster

  • I tired my first back flip today.

I did it on a tramp but I have question is it easier to jump from something higher.

  • yeah, it is easier

  • thanks man that was great

  • nice dude! ur good.... imma go try. fuck i hope i dont die

  • gosh man i dont know wat to do when i leap up in the air it like im stuck there

    god someone help me

  • spoter! get a spoter! ^^

  • You're not jumping at all

  • ke pesaoooo

  • instead of mattress swimming pool...:D i can do backflips into swimming pools and yet have tried on ground..im afriad im gunna land on my head or sumthing..and once i try on a Jolley Jumper..bounce around and i landed rite on my head and heard stuff crack lmao..o well

  • hmmm okay you win. grab behind your legs. I dont see how it could be safer but if you say so^_^. oh and I noticed when you do your flip you cutting alot of your hight. try not to throw yourself back so much just jump strait up and then flip. it works

  • u r a good person. u r willing to put effort to teach other people what u know. thank u.

  • I cant put my hands in my kneels :(

espero que lo aya escrito bien :P

  • same here =(

  • hey, good info but your wrong about the tuck thing, its not safer to grab under your legs in dangerous because you can get your arms stuck and wont be able to come out. but that roudnoff part is good info, thats how I started. thanks for the vid. all in all a four and a half out of five

  • lol...

it is much safer to grab under the legs

there is no possible way to get your arms stuck...seriously...unless you wrap your arms around your legs and zip tie them together...you are not supposed to put yoru arms under your legs...just grab the back of your knees/legs with your hands...and when you want to open up, you just let go...

if you ask any tumbling coach or gymnastics instructor, they will say the same thing...it is much safer to tuck under the legs than on the knees.

  • oh, I was in Gymnastics for six years and always learned to grab on top,(and yeah your hands can get stuck between your legs when you bend them if you have shorts on ive done it) but if you say so^_^

  • Proper technique is behind the thighs. Articles of clothing have no impact on true kinesthetic principles.

  • lol, i'd probably break my neck tho. ill just stick to watching hot guys do it.

  • i lied in one of my vids im wearing a grey shirt that says nothing to wear and blue striped pajama pants lol yea weird but w/e

  • okay so

    1) ur really hot

    2) im 14

    3) i live in quartz hill too

    4) u can do some crazy shit

    5) nice ninja star

and 6) im the blonde chick in 3 of my vids and i think i was wearing a red shirt in every one of them

message me and we'll talk ;]
