how do you take care of the front suspension i know the extra weight makes it drop in the front

@MyGta123 a 302 V8 is only 100lbs heavier than the stock 2.0/2.3 4 banger motor most of these came with, so really you don't need to change anything in the front, if anything, you have to drop the back to get it level, unless you like it raked looking like a hot rod

i hope you didnt do that too often... most people dont realize that wen u break torque you're back brakes are applied, you can eat the hell out of your rear brakes and not no wat the hell happened. but everyone loves a bit of smoke :)

when i did my v8 swap we had to modify the fire wall and frame for clearance and make new radiator braket but i can fit a 351w if i put one in... maybe in the future vids of the motor coming soon

get the right mounts and tranny and they bolt right in man, a few knotchs on the frame for headers and lots of wiring, and thats about it, you can google a how to vid, mine was fairly simple

BETTER TO MAKE SURE YOU USE 157T FLYWHEEL IF YOUR GOING C-4 AND SMALL BELL HOUSING. fREES UP ALOT OF SPACE. SPECIALLY IF REMOVING TRANSMISSION

Very nice truck. Ive got a small 94 ranger with a 2.3L.  I wanna put a 302 in it some day. How hard/long was the process?

Yeah man I've got a 94 2.3L too. You ever get that 302 in let me know how it works out. I'd like to put a bigger engine in too. but first It needs some body work.

yeah with the 2.3l its hard cuz youd have to do some major fabricating...but if you have a v6 they make a conversion kit for a 302 and it just replaces the motor mounts and what not

wrong, there is no fabricating involved with a 2.3>>>302 swap other than pounding the firewall in a bit to fit 1 little notch on the c4 trans

Well you said it like you have to have a PhD in automotives to do it. Advance Adapters also makes a conversion kit for 2.3ls

yea good luck it can be done though you can put a 460 in aswell but u need extra frame supports because the 460 has to much torque i have a 92 ranger extended cab 2wd im putting a 351 w HO out of a police interceptor ^_^

really nice ranger but it didnt really do that good of a burnout i want to put a nice engine in a range like a 429 or a 428 cobra jet or something like that something big

@DS1990fordf150, u would need a 9 inch rear en and a bigblock in a smallblock truck like that would fuck the whole frame, body, gears, and body get a fuckin edjucation
