My wife is Chickasaw and I am Cherokee and our families share many different towns. We are also losing a lot of our land. They tax our cattle for methane. They tax us for well water. BTW, they would just as soon as spit in your face as be called "native americans". I lived in EsDak 1970-72. It got down to -36F in the winter. We used wood for heat, but by morning there would be ice on the inside of the windows. The ends of my big toes are still nerve dead from the frostbite. Crazy.

In reality the Native Americans did all they could to take advantage of the first European settlers. In the 1600's-1700's some of the most evil things ever done to people were done to English settlers by the East Coast Native Americans.
Also the Soiux were the most evil of all the planes Native Americans (just ask the other tribes). The Native Americans in the West were MUCH better people than the ones in the east. They NEVER killed women and children like they did in the east.

BTW, they would just as soon as spit in your face as be called "native americans". The real exploiters are the liberals that throw money at them but somehow the money gets intercepted along the way or government health care worse than having none. Many of my friends are doing well financially with casinos and smoke shops but it's their souls that are gone.

At the time, it was the poorest, worst rural ghetto in the USA. People had not only never seen a light bulb (which isn't necessarily a bad thing), they didn't even know what one was. Excuse me because I am quite ignorant of Native Americans and there issues but from this video, they have no electricity and no way to pay to get it back. Also, from what I learned, Native Americans have a crippling teenage suicide rate, so you shouldn't worry about the youth not learning culture, you should start worrying about how to help them become more successful by leaving the reservation and moving into a place with more oppurtunity. Again, I don't know much, maybe you can educate me...
