None of you quibbling weenies noticed that they named their engines Homer, Marge, Bart and Lisa... I guess Lockheed Martin ppl have a sense of humour :)
@cegonha02 It all started with some crazy arab and a bomb wraped aroiund his chest. Go tell him. While your in hell talking to him tell those crazy arabs that highjacked those airplanes as well.
I have bring the airship idea in my degree project program but there is much of negative feedback. :-( It might been changed if people really can see what the airship can perform in the future...
One of the biggest drawbacks to the old rigid airships was the need for an incredibly large ground crew, which was also incredibly expensive. The larger the ships became the more impractical they became. The larger they became they greater amount of time it took for a huge number of men to handle them on the ground. This ship does not require ground crew and if it is therefore available 95% of the time then it has eliminated that negative.
The dirigible aircraft carrier was actually invented in 1918. They're still pretty viable today. In 1933 the USS Akron was carrying four fighter planes, her sister ship five, in internal hangars. Imagine how many a trimaran airship flying wing like this(but bigger) could carry! 1,000,000- 2,000,000 pounds of payload=a LOT of aircraft.
I keep watching your airship fly and can't help thinking that it would be of great use in the north. The permafrost is melting and roads are deteriorating. Airships of this design could supply the towns and settlements.
I think your airship is great . My dream has been the Canduit Project and your scaled up version sounds like it could carry the large cylinders to the launch site. Anything wrong with dreaming? Werner Rettig
whell they let airships in fsx why not make that for it it will be cool

the war on terrorism is fake, when the war on terror started, terror accounted for only 5000 deaths worldwide. That number has gone up %500.
Now the US Gov is training your mind to think there will be a terror threat in the homeland. The suspects are NOT al qaeda, they are US citizens.
WTFU
WAKE THE FUCK UP!

@naritz41 the best thing an airship can do is transport people safely. Using it for Military purposes is just stupid

Dear All,
I have some questions about psychology and technology:
(1) Why do we love flying?
(2) Why do we relate aerospace technology with charity and disaster relief?
(3) Why do want to design and to build new airships in this jet-age?
(4) What do you think if Red Cross has a airship like this as a flying hospital?
(5) Will you donate $5 to download an virtual Red Cross airship for flight simulator game?
THANK YOU IN ADAVNCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)
