One thing I do find hard to believe is that Mitchell found McNamee credible when he could not find anyone else to affirm what McNamee said, and while McNamee was being threatened to cooperate.
He was being threatened to cooperate..not to lie. He was told that if he procured streoids for a player and didnt come clean about who they were, than they would prosecute him. They offered him immunity for anyone that he admittedly provided steroids for. Why then would he lie??? Your argument makes no sense whatsoever!

The speculation would then be that Roger bribed him in some way. One of the reasons our judicial system is based on innocence until proven guilty is because it is much harder to prove innocence than guilt. If Roger did take steroids, there will be a paper trail, but if he did not, all he can say is that McNamee is lying- that's it.
