Derek Lind (a contemporary of Neil's) used to say "write a bad song every day" - which meant write a bad sone every day, take the best line from that song and, the next day, write another song around that line. Repeat the process daily until you are "writing such songs as Neil Finn do it."

No, that is an unreleased gem (only available on live b**tlegs covering Neil's 1998 solo tour) and on a very rare test pressing of "Try Whistling This".
