  • Butiful and well tamed

  • how big do they get by inches

  • in thailandsee this in thailand die on the road manys time

  • I just got a baby water monitor a few days back, and he seems to be in pretty good shape. it's just that even though he's alert most of the time, he isn't that active around the cage yet. Is this just the usual "adjustment to surroundings" phase or is it like something not normal? he seems really calm when i hold him, he just doesnt move a lot.

  • @bobafettfan9080 Hi sounds like it could just be the new surroundings and nothing to be concerned about, that said if your unsure in any way keep a close eye on him/her just to make sure its nothing more, i would say as long as he/she is eating shedding going to tiolet between feeds every thing is ok,

  • @brynster101 he's only eaten 2 crickets since i got him, and it's been over a week. but he poops a lot and seems healthy enough, now he's been active around the cage and doesn't try to run into his hidebox when i go to him. Still a bit shy though, freezes whenever he sees me or when i'm moving him to a tub of water for a swim, then slowly resumes walking/swimming. how long did it take you to build enough trust with your monitor for him to come to you like that?

  • hi im not so knowledgable on water monitors so why are you wearing the glove

  • @popcorntoearth i was wearing glove because i had a bad cut on my hand and didnt want his claws to catch it

  • @brynster101 was the cut from him??
