My dad's disabled but he works no matter how much pain he's in he'll work because he doesn't want to live of working peoples money, he works very hard for what he gets and is a big example to the scum that do nothing all day. 100% agree with you Ken. But also want to point out that age is no means of disregarding people's views and opinions and whether they have knowledge of how the internet work is irrelevant to benefit reform. If we allowed the house of commons to pass legislation into law straight away we could get some really bad changes. The system is already arguably corrupt with corporations being able to donate unlimited amounts of money to politicians, the lords right now is the only last stand.

One tends to forget that if a welfare state wasn't implemented crime and poverty would sharply increase. I agree that people shouldn't be receiving £35K+ through benefits in order to pay for expensive accommodation and other utilities. Why should someone working be earning less than anyone on benefits? Is that really moral? No - it really isn't. I do agree on a cap on the amount of children one should have, however that will never happen due to a thing called "human rights".

I am looking for work but it's pretty difficult since at least 50+ people apply for every job and with 2.6 million people in the UK unemployed is hard to compete with when theres no jobs available to support that.

What about in the case of medical benefits where someone is unable to pay for their medical bills if not for benefits?
