  • 25K is a good wage too i would make a max off around 15K

  • What most annoys me about benefits is that quite a number of the people on them are able to work and are commiting benefit fraud, 35k is a lot...way too much to be paying out for people who sit at home all day, fair enough if they genuinely can't work but many just use it as an excuse.

  • I hate stinking chavs and their 15 brats.

    PARASITES.

  • People exploit the benefits system. That's a fact. But I don't think blurting out stereotypes and swearing about it makes your point any stronger. What about war? People hail soldiers as "heroes" when they fight a war we shouldn't even be in, and the government spends billion on it a year. THAT is destroying our economy.

  • my family live like this its so embarrasing and shit

  • This is so fucking true

  • You should just call this video: CHAVS.

    Robbing Bastards.

  • Love it when ken gets political!

  • ive just listened to this again and ken says something about these people in lords make decisions and they don't know internet, computers, xboxs and all this new technology. Actually that improves their argument on you ken. They don't have influences from the world oly their mind. They vetoed it has they thought it was best, thats the problem with this 'demos' we live in. Commons&Lords shouldnt have all the voting, the demos (people) should. Referendums etc.

  • Grind my gears, remind of an episode of family guy

  • Make it optional to pay benefit taxes. Then let's count the no. of unemployed

  • what people fail to realise is most people on massive benefits are disabled etc

  • @TheRascal5678 still doesn't make it right. yeah you were born with a disability, so you get big money for it? my friend is blind, deaf and has a heart condition, he still works in an office for a shit wage.

  • @METALFREAK03 dont be fucking stupid, blind death, he wouldnt know where he is or what hes doing, stop trolling

  • @gamingmidget I can assure you he is. He gets on my bus everyday. I help him sometimes, but he has a blind stick and hearing aide, this means he does hear things and see things (well with the stick).

  • @METALFREAK03 That last sentence seemed humorous...

  • @SloppyxGaming don't get you mate.

  • just take away all the money and tell em to go to work

  • just so u know there are 2 animals having sex behind u

  • 35k is a fucking gross amount to just be handed annually for not doing anything. Give them 75% of that and tell them to get a fucking job

  • I wrote that comment whilst only a minute through the video, DAMN there's a lot of stereotypes you have you here Ken.

  • Yes, everyone in the UK that is on benefits is 'scrounging' for them. The bill was absolutely stupid. The majority of people on benefits already are below the wanted threshold, and the only people above it are the disabled, for the most part.

  • These lazy twats don't seem to have trouble sitting on their arses on their lap tops ( paid for by the workforce ) get a fucking office job!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Excellent ken it makes me wonder why the fucking Im getting up at 5:30 every morning to pay for those lazy pieces of scum

  • Lazy bastards get off your arses!!!

  • Pissed myself at 5:27

  • there gonna cap it to 26k not 35k. 35k is the highest amount. I don't think there should be a welfare system. everyone can work.

  • Completely agree, yes there are limited jobs for people who have lived in this country those are the ones who deserve a benefit to an extent but people who come for a better way of life is just over crowding and therefore shouldn't get a benefit.

  • Ken the fact is that the house of lords can only veto/reject it twice, then the real politicians can just go ahead with the law so it's only a matter of time

  • Great vid ken

  • Ken you mean the House of Lords

  • @asdop2211 its the same place :)

  • Ken, I think of the movie Idiocracy when things like this happens.

  • @Colten45Owns yes i need to watch this film i ve been wanting it for years

  • A man who lives across the road from me lives in a big house, bigger than mine, and he's never worked in his life he claims disability benefit and there is fuck all wrong with him he gets a car and the whole fucking lot for nothing. My dad's disabled but he works no matter how much pain he's in he'll work because he doesn't want to live of working peoples money, he works very hard for what he gets and is a big example to the scum that do nothing all day. 100% agree with you Ken. Great video. :)

  • @MajorWar2010 sorry but are you a doctor? you can not tell me who is and is not disabled. I have scheuermann's disease very painful. I can still walk and do things. But I would not be able to work unless they let me work in bed in an office. Just because your dad works through pain does not mean everybody has to. and for sure doesn't mean people who don't are scum. I admit some people are not in the right for disability, but you're not the one to say that. I on the other hand have a great family

  • @Colten45Owns But in the same regard should someone who doesnt work for their money get so much more than a lot of people that do actually work?

  • @DrMcB3 I was not arguing about that, simply stating that if someone can walk doesn't mean they're perfectly fine. I can not get a job with the amount of medications I'm always on. And I would not be comfortable with a job of any kind that would allow that.

But my opinions on that exactly wouldn't be right since countries are not the same when it comes to costs of doctor visits, medications, etc.

  • @Colten45Owns do you own a wheelchair|? can you use your brain or hands? work in a factory. there you go. have a meaning to life. sorry to be blunt with it but there is no excuse not to work in this country or any, there shouldnt even be a system whereby you get free money for things that happened in your life or you were born with. I have had this and that, diseases, illnesses - sometimes i want to die. why not? cause i want to have a meaning to my shitty existance and earn something.

  • @METALFREAK03 Work in a factory when the nerves around my spine and spinal cord are being pinched. YES I WILL GO GET A JOB TOMORROW! I do use my brain and hands everyday. And yes I do have a meaning, the most I can hope for out of my life that I give knowledge to the human race to use after I am dead. This day in age there is no reason a disabled person has to work. I do not take money from anyone! Like I said, I am lucky to have a very good family who helps me out. I have in no way given up!

  • @METALFREAK03 There is a big dif than having pain and having my limbs go numb while I'm driving or working on big or small machinery.

  • meerkats in background <3

  • They should get £400 a month max. Don't matter how many kids they have.

  • @cockneyrebel9 But the more kids you have, the more you need.

  • @K3K4pl4t4pus Get a job or stop having kids. I don't want my hard earn cash going to kids who parents don't want to work.

  • cool vid ken

  • Id cap it at 1k a year, they will be soon getting of there arses.

  • i will personaly cap it to 10,000 (under Apprentiship wage). itl get them of ther lazy arses ang get a job to by condoms

  • hey ken who are you caling old, lol

  • TALK ABOUT ACTA!!!!

  • Cap it at 12k, see them slags have 5 kids then.

  • @adambrooks60 I'd go as low as 5k for those fuckers with over 2 kids and swap it with the people who actually work who earn below 17.5k a year have 12k

  • Is this all benefits or just unemployment? I mean your idea about 25k for perhaps families with a child with a disability like mine (my brother has severe autism) so you need around 25k just to get by. However, I still agree with the proposed cap

  • ken it was beaten by tory minsters in the lords

  • I'd cap it at 15k, Thats enough to live on.

  • My mum has worked her whole life and shes on 22k, when some people who don't even work are on 35k, Disgraceful

  • Some people do actually need it such as people with mental illnesses and disabilities. But people who dont have those should not be allowed to claim that much from benefits

  • ken call it The Ken opinion show

  • utter dickheads

  • 35k is more than my dad brings in and its a hell of a lot less once tax is taken off

  • a vicar would say to think of the children ;-)

  • My mam is disabled (with 3 disablilties) and she can't work, she gets under 20k a year while these dirty ethnic bastards are getting 35k, fucking hell

  • the people in the house of lords are the same age as Ken.

  • @xColinW he was talking about the house of commons

  • couldnt agree with you more. i my honest opinion i dont think they deserve anything if they have nothing wrong with them!

  • Hate Scroungers

  • These cunts are earning more than me and my wife for doing fuck all!

I see some guy moaning that the council were trying to reduce his £2000 a week Rent in West London.

    Fucking Joke!

  • I don't have a problem with people that are trying to stay on benefits for as little as possible to find a job. But the people that just sit on their arse and don't care for the place they live in because they didn't buy it and buy Sky and shit. Yeah you can tell I'm getting fired up here

  • 35K? Are you stupid? My parents were on benefits and they got under 10,000 combined, that barely used to get us through. Now they have jobs that don't equal to 35K.

  • Just call it "Kens WTF rant", i think that fits it :)

  • That must be for people who are disabled though? I know somebody who gets like hardly anything.

  • Tbh, Ken, when I finish uni I will look at the money I get from jobs and look at the money I'd get if I was unemployed. If unemployment 'pays' better, I'd go for that. I wish the House o' Lords would fuck off.

  • The problem is Ken, The kids will grow up having had parents on benefits so then they will go onto benefits as will their kids.. What incentive is there to come off benefits? I don't earn 35k? Yea I go to work 7-8hrs per day? If I quit my job and played PS3 all day I would get paid more? It aint right is it?

  • 35k a year? I dont even make that kind of money with a fulltime job in the Netherlands :-/

  • more than 3 kids no more benefits,

  • you can't blame one without the other ken the ones on the dole have got it easy because there is hardly any jobs out there so they sit on their fat arse also some people aren't even fit to work (don't take this the wrong way) would you want a junkie working for your business scaring away the customers trying to sell his/her meth or whatever :/ I WOULDN'T

  • I'm actually in love with you Ken. "Where old people go to die" I nearly pissed.

  • The £35k a year is only for people who would be on disability normal people on benefits are on about £120 every two weeks.

  • mabe i should quit my 20k job and go on the dole and get ma rent paid ect.... fcuk that am no scrounger I PAY MY WAY

  • Ken are they the same people that there dad there brother there sister is there mother and the spend all today in whetherspoons

  • Most people stay on the dole cos it works out to more money than when your working, ive just recently started a job after being laid off about a year ago and we have worked out we are getting 150 quid less a month. They should make it so working gets you more money

  • Benefit "scroungers" aren't the problem, bankers are.

  • Ken you picked your words very carefully their well done because when ever i talk about this subject i go into all out rage mode so well done squire.

  • the solution to this problem is to mean test every type of benefit because child benefit is available no matter the income, and heating allowance

  • Ken for PM?

  • Never mind capping the unemployed at £25K, cap MPs at £25K. With a second home and expenses they don't need any more, and you'd get a better class of people aspiring to the position. If the MP's wage reflected the national average they'd have real incentive to improve general quality of life for their citizens.

  • @flapecake haha mps wages are nothing in return of some jobs, the guy off newsnight earns near a 1million a year for just newsnight. Also MPs don't get expenses like they did anymore, its all determined by demand and supply.

  • 35K? i thought they paid out around £50 per week everytime they sign on

  • I make 8k a year but have to pay tax to support some waste of space so he can sit on his arse all day taking heroin and still get more money than me, I'd happily shoot half these fuckers, they don't deserve to live (where I live)

  • I should quit my job.. I don't earn even close to that!

  • I think that if this was 35K a year per household and in that their was 1-2 people fine but I think it would be ridiculous to say that 35K a year was enough for 3 + people in a household.

Also these day it's getting harder and harder so people should be offered jobs and almost frosted to take them.

  • Sorry for incorrect cap comment. But also want to point out that age is no means of disregarding people's views and opinions and whether they have knowledge of how the internet work is irrelevant to benefit reform. If we allowed the house of commons to pass legislation into law straight away we could get some really bad changes. The system is already arguably corrupt with corporations being able to donate unlimited amounts of money to politicians, the lords right now is the only last stand.

  • One tends to forget that if a welfare state wasn't implemented crime and poverty would sharply increase. I agree that people shouldn't be receiving £35K+ through benefits in order to pay for expensive accommodation and other utilities. Why should someone working be earning less than anyone on benefits? Is that really moral? No - it really isn't. I do agree on a cap on the amount of children one should have, however that will never happen due to a thing called "human rights".

  • I'm on benifits as a 20 year old but even i find it depressing everytime you have to sign on because the people there are scruffs and a waste of space. I am looking for work but it's pretty difficult since at least 50+ people apply for every job and with 2.6 million people in the UK unemployed is hard to compete with when theres no jobs available to support that.

  • @diorriea123 you really are a ignorant asshole. What makes you better then them. Your claiming just like them but all of a sudden you less scruffy then them. You son are a.typical scrounge.

  • @Blacktolite I don't want to be on benifits, i can't stand being on it but i have to or i'll be on the streets.

  • The cap was 26K not 35K.

  • I dont have a problem with people who claim benefits who are 24/7 actively looking for a job. But when you see people who decide to make a living out of it and basically getting everything for free they really annoy me. Im not working my arse off and getting taxed for some smackhead to get an easy living.

  • The House of Lords is more commonly known as the House of Experts Ken. They are a bunch of highly experienced professionals who are not stupid. I'd guarantee half of them, if not more disagree with our countries benefit society and I'f they did veto it, they probably want it amended in another way. Have faith in the Lords. They know good shit! and it isn't 1910 anymore ;)

  • Before you people start to complain about benefit claimers get to know how much they get. You people. Have no idea what they get paid but you'll all complain ignorance is bullshit

  • i agree that they should find ppl like that and get them off benifits but you forget to mention the one's on it that have real disabilitys and the one's that fake it to get the money

  • @smiddo, yes some people need benefits, but not those earning 35k and over surely? If u earn that much money and need benefits as well then ur living well beyond ur means and something is seriously wrong with ur finances! People need to stop being greedy and sort themselves out it's disgusting money grabbing bleeders!

  • @plumhead, if u earn a decent wage then well done-but why do u need benefits as well that's just greed! If I earned even 25k a year I would feel cheeky to claim anything! And if I could manage without benefits then I would-believe it or not! The government no matter who are in charge are all toffs and snobs and don't have a clue about the real world, they need replacing ASAP they r waste of space!

  • What about in the case of medical benefits where someone is unable to pay for their medical bills if not for benefits? I think that there should be more control on benefits but something like just limiting it for no reason makes no sense. So I agree with what your saying but I agree with the rejection of this law.

  • It's disgusting ken, I know a couple who between them earn 60k a year and they still get benefits! No wonder all the eastern Europeans come here-it's not easy money it's easy peasey money-seriously! Over 50% of workers where I work are polish! And they are raking it in mate it's very unfair, but it's these old codgers fault!

  • they get more than i do and i work part time and attend college full time its just terrible how they get money

  • No Ken, it's unfair to punish the people that earn a lot of money because they're successful.

  • @plumhead195 They're not successful. They get the money for being unemployed with kids.

  • House of Lords by the way Ken... apart from that good points

  • Wow.. If people are claiming in excess of $35k in unemployment benefits I'm not surprised that they stay on the dole. The dole should only be enough to pay for food, shelter and other such bare neccessities while the people are searching for work.

  • @RaNdOmHoMeY its more like 56000 dollars

  • @RaNdOmHoMeY £35k, not $ so its roughly 1.6 times more than $35k. Just saying, its totally wrong, as you said, it should just be for food and utilities and nothing other. Most don't work because they can get more on benefits if they lie about disabilities etc. If they genuinely have disablities then they are entitled to money, but how disabled do you have to be to not be able to do anything. I know a few disabled people who hold down a job and dont claim much.

  • @RaNdOmHoMeY thats £ which is about $50k-$60k and then they get their house paid for and loads of other shit etc.

  • @RamageGaming you still pay rent on council houses, that comes out of the benefits they want to cap for some, the rest pay it out of wages. its not an extra amount

  • @RaNdOmHoMeY The funny thing is to americans its 70k us dollars

  • @RaNdOmHoMeY Assuming you're American from the fact you used dollars, in pounds, it's a LOT more than $35k. Just sayin'.

  • @RaNdOmHoMeY Its in pounds so its even more

  • Ken for president!!

  • Any link...

Some people need benefits, you have to remember this but I understand what you mean, why spend the cash on people who don't need it!!

  • The fuck?

Both my parents' combined incomes don't reach £35k.

If you're on benefits, you shouldn't be able to afford holidays. Benefits should be the bare minimum required to keep you sheltered, healthy and possibly a little surplus for condoms.

No-one with a job should ever earn less than someone without one.

  • "There's a black one, there's a green one..." You're so funny Ken.

  • It is stupid that people are allowed to claim money for basically having children im sure people do it just for the money!

  • Hey Ken, is there a link anywhere to see you on CNN?

  • il retweet it now :) totally agree! its stupid!

  • Tweet this out Guys, lets see if we can get back on CNN :)
