I'm Thomas and this is my testimony. Iv'e been a christian since I was 4, but never really "followed god" I would tell people I did but, but allways had a douting feeling he wasn't real, or didn't care about me. That all changed 2 days before my 16th birthday. My youth group and I went to this teen christian, concert/church that lasted for 3 days and had about 4000 teens.The 2 day is the day that really changed me. The paster told us to all bow our heads and close our eyes, and quote -find pt2-
The difference between religion and relationship. Religion is a list of rules in the hopes of pleasing god. Relationship is realising you are not good(by God's standard), and Christ already did the work, and then accepting him as your lord and savior. You just have to accept the gift. It wasn't a set of moral rules that saved this man. Or good thoughts. Or well thought out ideas. It was Jesus Christ. Having said that, if one truly has Christ, it will show by his behavior.

@TomCuthbert93 John 1:1 reconciles that dilemna. Not same 'person' in that there is no difference between the Father and Son, but both contain the quality of being 'God'. There are many verses attributing qualities reserved for God to Christ. Hope this clears things up a bit.
@TomCuthbert93 The christian 'package' should be broken down. I felt very cheated when I found out how unscriptural christianity is. I still believe Yeshua is Messiah, son of Elohim (g-d), perfect likeness of the Father. We need to let go off traditions and beliefs that are unscriptural: lawlessness (ie one single command changed, as if The Maker would change His mind about how we should live!), christmas, easter, all things pagan. But I also had a major encounter at 20 (till now 46) :)
This is what Christianity is all about, "Being born-again"...spiritually. God will give you/us a new spirit almost like a new operating system in a computer, so-to-speak). Your/our new spirit will be one with God....and then we are back in fellowship with God and have eternal life.
When a person is truely 'born-again' they will know 100% that there is a God, because the Holy Spirit will change them from the inside out in a very big way, and bear witness that they are a child of God.

i suffered from a bad drug addiction to grass and mephadrone smokin grass from the age of 12 and at 17 near 18 i realised tht i wasnt controlling this drug tht it was controling me i ended up in rehab and on my 4th night i felt so week and lost tht i didnt no wht i was doin or anything i cried for over 4 hours i put my self in a christian rehab and on tht 4th nyt i called out to god and i sreamed '' save me lord if ur there save me'' and he did my tears dryed up instantly and my addiction gone.
my addiction of 6 years was healed like that to i was on dope and meph. and the lord healed me in my rehab i never though god was real but i can sure tell you if he could heal me and forgive me for everything that iv done and take away all my hurt there sure is a god and im tell you this he is the most amazing man anyone cud ever no ..x

Yes, he does. Put some faith in Jesus Christ and believe in him and he will answer your prayers according to his will. Sometimes God doesn't answer the prayers how we want him too. And, we have to believe that is because he knows what way is better. He sees the "big picture" when we dont'.
I know God is real because he changed my Dad in a positive way. Before that he was a very wicked man. Now he is very different. Thank you Jesus Christ!
Jesus loves everyone unconditionally. He can save everyone even he/she is sick, failure, depress, bad or any negative. He is God and everything is possible to Him. Just call Jesus' name and ask from him anything. He is near to anyone who cried to Him. Jesus loves you.

God bless the man. A lot of people don't believe God exist. A system will not reveal God to you. You have to make a effort to walk with him in a relationship so he can reveal himself. It is sort of like telling someone you have a friend. Though that person never met the friend you were speaking about. It doesn't mean he doesn't exist just because you never met him. You have 2 go out their and ask "How can I meet this friend who changed your life?" In time your friend's friend will be your friend
WILL YOU GO TO HEAVEN? Here is a quick test, have you ever told a lie? Have you ever stolen something? Have you ever used Gods name as a cuss word? Have you ever been jealous or prideful? If you have done these things, you are heading for Hell. That is not Gods will. God sent Jesus to take the punishment on the cross for our sins, so that if you repent(turn away from sin) and trust in Jesus as your lord and savior, God will forgive every sin you ever committed and grant you Heaven.

No, your right about him having a plan, but, sin's satan and the earth itself (aka drugs and everything bad) has stood in the way of that. Thus, god's plan is not being fulfilled. It's really simple.
I praise your testimony, my only comment is you need to take your hair down to the minimum. cocain was yours meth was mine. we both know that power is addictive and that only negative consequences USUALLY come from it. I feel he is on the edge of going back to prison due to commit some crime to feed his addiction as he is now jobless again.

Wow ... thank you for this. I'm pretty new to Christianity and only 17, although i have not been into drugs my 15 year old brother is at that stage and this week was threaten to be killed and they took £500 worth of things off of him to feed there habit and they also beat him up. I'm going to show him your testimony and hope it opens his eyes, thank you.

No God did not plan a bad life for Davey, the devil comes to kill steal and destroy. God came in to Davey's life and took him off the path that the Devil prepared for him and put him the right track.

No, your right about him having a plan, but, sin's satan and the earth itself (aka drugs and everything bad) has stood in the way of that. Thus, god's plan is not being fulfilled. It's really simple.

I praise your testimony, my only comment is you need to take your hair down to the minimum. cocain was yours meth was mine. we both know that power is addictive and that only negative consequences USUALLY come from it. Wish you the best. You can make it just like i have. Motto for us is: IF YOU WANT PEACE, PREPARE FOR WAR. We just have to take this in context and use it correctly. No more skin leaking over things we can't control cause something more powerful is working it for us.

A man in my prayers; his life sounds as yours was before salvation...
He is tormented by drug addiction; crime has had him in and out of prison.
I feel he is on the edge of going back to prison due to commit some crime to feed his addiction as he is now jobless again.
Any who read this pray for John to be saved and set free No one on earth thus far has been able to reach him. This mans freedom from and salvation is going to take a miracle.

I met davey tonight, he came to my church and told us his story. He helped a blind wheelchair bound woman see and walk. He is amazing.
