Really cool - but what's up with the lack of hair and a straight line cutting the top of young Tom's head? At first I thought it was my monitor blending his hair into the shadows, but cranking up the brightness I still see no hair - and even if there is some I can't see, that is a messed up hairline! It bugged me for the whole rest of the vid once you put in that hairline - kept waiting for you to fix that and add hair.

Otherwise, gorgeous work! Just that one small nit to pick.

I can draw good, as long as I have photo or picture to draw it from. I can't draw from my mind and that sucks. I really wish I could be an artistic person, and I want an artistic trait but I guess I just don't have one. I'm not really good at art. :*(

@mushroombume To answer your question on how he gets the proportions right ... If you look closely at the beginnings of his speed drawings, you can see him making slight marks on pieces of the paper. These marks include the eyes, nose, mouth, chin, and (in the cases of most female drawings), the hair. Once the marks are made, he just goes through and fills in detail. :)
