As far as the health care issue is concerned, I understand your concept. The problem is the taxes. First, it is NEVER good to raise taxes on anything, anywhere. Second, part of our tax money already goes to helping countries whose health care system isn't as great as ours. Is ours broken? Maybe, but its still the best in the world. In fact, world leaders in need of good health care, come HERE! Why is that?

As for the gasoline "problem," first, we need to de-regulate the silliness in California with the ridiculous EPA standards. Second, we need to update our refineries with new technologies. Third, get rid of this silly E-85 Ethanol garbage. Refining processes for Ethanol pollute the environment by a whopping 150% more into our atmosphere! Subscribing to the Ethanol "solution" is walking us into another problem. Do you know what it is?

Your argument is flawed for the simple reason that Iraq must export oil to gain resources to buy goods, including weaponry. Since oil is sold fluidly in the world market, anyone--including the U.S.--can pretty much get all the oil it wants by paying world market prices. To be continued...
