Popped over and wanted to comment on this one again Dan! Man, you really rocked this up! It sounded so cool on the headphones tonight!! Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving:))
@Cameragirl803 Thanks for stopping by, Jane. You folks have a nice holiday too. Yeah, I was trying for something heavier here. I guess I've been listening to too much Townstra lol.
Hello Fog ***** If an intervention has led to your knee to compose a song like this it seems almost to break the other .. hahaha (kidding) Fog is a piece Roccheggiante bellomolto very nice .. very good! Fog as it is now your knee? I hope that everything is for the better: I make my best wishes for the recovery! Hello!
Wow!! Hey Dan, This Sounds Really Amazing & Awesome, Bro!! You & The Rock!! I Love The Visuals In The Vid Too!! A Huge Thumbs Up!! Keep Up The Great & Fantastic Awesome Job, My Talented Friend!! Rock On, Bro!!
Hey Brother, I think that's one of your best videos yet, and a super good song. I dig it a lot. I never heard of a Gibson RD before. That is a great guitar, man!
@losthills Thanks for listening. Yeah, I'm getting a little better at the videos. My wife gave me some new software last Christmas. They only made those RDs for a few years in the late 70s. I was really excited about it.
@pseudosun Thanks for listening to my stuff and the cool comment. I don't have the skills to rip off other peoples sound even if that was my goal lol.
LOL - I gotta say man I think it is hilarious that YOU think I'M getting weirder by the minute. Step back and look at this video. Now... isn't it nice that we are members of the same club?
@dmio2 Yes, but I only wear it with the flippers on my feet, the diving mask over my eyes and the tin foil hat on my head. If it was just the gorilla suit people on the buses in Chicago might think I was strange.
@hnonlinemagazine Thanks for listening! I got some new video software for Christmas last year and I learn new stuff each time I try it out. Like now there are two of me lol
@stoneybrotherbass Thanks for listening. I live in Spokane, Washington. I'm not really a band, just one fat long hair who plays a few different instruments. Maybe I'll grab my saxophone and come sit in with you boys lol.
i very much like your line "banashed from language by the blind". when i hear a rock song like this, i don't often expect insightful lyrics, but insightful writing is a big part of who you are. your line, "promise lit up the night" at first listen might sound like another cool phrase. but if you take the time to really listen and consider, we realize that promise is half intention and half energy behind it. that kind of action makes us wonder what the end result might be. peace, chuck
@chuxtrux Thanks once again for your careful listening. It is fun to encounter people who actually think about things. There was a line in the movie: "Dreaming isn't dead, it's just been forgotten- removed from the language." I jotted that down and it became my "banished" line. I don't know where the "promise" line came from lol, but I've enjoyed reflecting on the energy and potential aspect that you bring up. Thank you very much for the comment.
@JeriLynnKarr Thanks for listening! Its funny, I almost never let the hair down except for these videos... its part of my detached artist look lol The elephants are from Dumbo of all places.
See your up to your old tricks again Foggster,, interesting composition, like the grungey/metal vibe running through the tune. Inspiration is a very unpredictable friend; ehh amigo! 5 *
@paddyRYAN1367 Thanks for listening. I dig it when you stop by. Yeah, I wanted to make something a little heavier this time. They is no figuring the creative process I guess.
What a surrealistic trip this is. Sort of a combination of Salvador Dali and Dr. Frankenstein's laboratory. Very strange.... in a good way. I don't know where you get all your visuals.
@archtopbrownie Thanks for checking it out, Lance. I rip off our fellow youtubers for video. Sometimes I ask permission and sometimes I'm just a jerk. The cool stuff with all the gears was some art students graduate project. pretty brilliant really. The ice cream cone I remembered from a somebodyIusedtoknow video... took me a while to find it again.
@experimentalrock I can't tell you how exicited I was to find that guitar. I had just been thinking of building a guitar twin for that guy's bass and was shopping parts when I discovered that RD on Craigslist. Plus I had just got my income tax refund.... its enough to make a guy believe in divine intervention.
Looks like the Dali scene from that Hitchcock movie. Nice hard rock. Don't like hard rock much these days. Helter Skelter ruined it for me and made me turn back to it's roots. But I like your stuff. Got that alt thing happening.

@dmio2 I"m still trying to learn...but have had a lot of problems lately with my left hand. First the trigger finger operation and now I need to have a carpal tunnel op. Sheesh...but I will get back to learning daily soon I hope. My left hand is just really bad right now. Thanks for asking!
@carlguage Thanks for the comment! I think they only made them for a few years. I was pretty excited to get it, especially since it matches my bass so nicely.
@townstra Thanks! I listened to some of your stuff when I was writing this because I wanted to make something a little heavier. Still seems to lack the edge you get.
@dmio2 yeah but more the inverse. i dont care to consciously control my dreams i seek to dream the uncontrol of my consciousness. first time i saw waking life i was really whacked out on painkillers and hard liquor though and it was similar to your description
