  • nice job :)

  • Pretty cool, pretty cool!

  • Far superior to the original.

  • That was GREAT! So then... where's the rest of the series?

  • mmmm fasinating He sounds so I dunno there

  • I laugh out loud every single time Kirk yells KAHN!

  • Congratulations on making it to the shortlist! =D Great dude, second time! First was Tron and now this! And thanx for the comment on our video about Dog Idol.

  • @Astrodogmedia Thanks a lot, much happier with this one than Tron, and good luck with your future films, hope to see you in the final 20 next year.

  • @mawgan I think Tron looked good, but this was funnier i think. The Done In 60 Seconds-contest works different for people who live outside the UK. Only submissions from the UK can show up on the final 20. So, im Swedish, and with me, as with the russians and the Chileans, we find out around the 24th February if we made it to our national finals. If i win my national final, i will compete with those 5 who got the top votes from the Shortlist.

  • @Astrodogmedia sorry keep forgetting about the non-UK entires and how the competition is run for them. Good luck for the 24th!

  • MINECRAFT

  • Haha, that was amazingly funny.

Incidentally, how did I know that you were going to put KHAAAAAN in there? Perhaps humans are telepathically linked when it comes to that name. LOL

  • lame

  • Fantastic!

  • KHAAAAAAAAAAN

  • Good Luck! :)

  • Now you have to do The Search for Spock.

  • paper mari...minecraft

  • how did you animate this?

  • @run4life2 Firstly I designed some papercraft templates of the characters which I printed, cut, folded and stuck together to form simple puppets. I then filmed them on a green screen and added the backgrounds/other objects on my computer (again drawing and colouring them all myself). For the animated parts I used simple animation software that allowed timeframed masks, opacity, size etc.

  • why isnt this viral yet

  • what is this minecraft meets star trek?

  • Hahahahaha

  • Guys! The insect in the ear is fantastic! And the bagpipe-dude. We are also entering this years competition, we made a spoof on Indiana Jones. Would be very happy to hear what you think about it. Cheers.

  • @Astrodogmedia thanks for your comments and good luck for the final 20! Will have a looksee at your Indy film!

  • @mawgan Thx guys =D The only ones that make it to the 20 Shortlist are entrys from the UK. So there is a special final in Sweden(likewise in Russia for example) if we win from there we get a trip to London, and after that our entries are judged by a celebrity jury, and if we go on after that, theres only 5 left, and after that, the public can vote again =D

  • Okay now you HAVE to do the rest of the movies. XD

  • @theXharlot would love to do Voyage Home!

  • @mawgan OMG yes! That's my fave one!

  • Brought a tear to me eye.

  • Jajajaja! Muy bueno!

  • I would love to see the LOTR trilogy done like this, but I will give you 3 minutes for your gallant crew :-)

  • That made a mockery of sooks "funeral"! In the real movie that was a moving seen and that have gone and messed it all up!

  • Well done!!

  • GREAT!!!

  • LOL SCOTTY WITH THE BAGPIPES

  • This is well done. Great use of cardboard figures! Very entertaining :)

  • This makes me happy.

  • Am I allowed to call it cute? Will you be offended? That's really cute.

  • @pdTHOR Not at all, thanks!

  • Ahhh.....Cliff Notes for great movies of the 80's....When is FLASHDANCE???

  • Flashdance then Short Circuit!

  • @mawgan Yay for Short Circuit!

  • KAAAAHHHHHNNNN!!!

  • ajjajajajjajajjajjaxD excellent!

  • Beautifully made. It's been more than 15 years since I last watched Wrath of Khan. But you got the bits I can remember in!

  • 0:13 - LOL! :)

  • @DomSezXL That bit was fun to do - I made the side of Checkov's head, cut out the ear shape and then made the worm thing, properly articulated and everything! I then filmed it coming out of the ear (as I pulled on a string) then reversed the footage once done. I bet Darren Aronofsky does the same thing...
