Maybe mankind will stop being guided animals and stop this(deadly) nonsense.

I highly doupt it. Violence will always be a way to force your own interests and so people and goverments will always use it. Thus, the only way to stop war would be to prevent conflicts.

However, there is hope there will be less wars in future. The way would be to make war less attractive for goverments.

What we need is to change peoples'consciousness to think of each other instead of themselves.

And the government to be directly for the people,by the people-to keep corrupt power-mongers out.

I doupt that we will suceed if we try to change the very nature of humanity. This was tried for over a thousand years and people are still egoistic. However, the power of interdependence could at least make goverments consider the best of humanity, but this won't happen as long as we stay in our cold system of competition. We need a globalization of society, not of the market.

About the goverment: If all people voted, this would help against corrupt power monglers. The key is attention.

@m4trix87 Ah, human nature. For this to happen one must develop a certain level of consciousness . Certain nations call themselves "civilized' and still think wars will solve problems. What is funny we call it human nature but I should say it is Man's nature. History is evidence of this. You could also look at modern middle eastern and eastern civilization issues for examples.
