They are not as bad as you would think. The vehicles (BMD) in this video for instance is designed for airborne operations, to date the west doesnt have anything that can be compared with airborne mechanized infantry. The AK 74 rifles and T80 variations are not bad either. The Ukranian T84 is better protected than the latest version of the M1a2 abrams tank....
