First off it was a showtime show around 1999.
Second, It's the reason I subscribed to showtime that year. The season opener has a physically male android laying completely naked in a lab with his bare foot soles exposed. He is a He even without genitals. The camera pans around to expose the unlatching of his brain case.
I do not know how I feel about this yet.
