Oh by the way! Good drive. 555martin has probably never driven The Ring. Smooth looking is very difficult because it is so undulating and bumpy. The key I guess is circuit knowledge and rhythm. I must get over their to drive some day. It looks similar difficulty to Isle of Man except Isle is 60 km and faster average speed(on bike). I think someone like John McGuinness may do well at The Ring because of his great brain for memorising road circuits.
jks. actually, if you understand the dynamics of driving at high speed you'll know that smoothness is not an indication of driving skill i.e. there are plenty of "smooth" driving grandmothers around lol
Do the dampers fade much? That's a bumpy track. Do you leave the ground much? Would you set up the suspension different to another track. I guess rally cars may do well around here. It seems like a few spots you do leave the ground. That's a straight cut gear set is it? What tyres did you run? If you run a roll cage (I assume you do, how does it affect the chassis stiffness and the suspension setup. Thanks for considering my questuions.
I love Tiff Needell and now this guy too!!
