Mamma how do you stay so organized LOL I have such a hard time deciding what picture to choose for each different treatment it drives me crazy deciding :)
Hi Mama Shan... as always I learned so much... too bad I just have to do another 40 or so simple B &W's ... no time to play today... this will be for another day!
thanks so much!! I always wondered how people do this and now you've explained it to me in great details!! It's kind of complicated to understand in the beginning, but in the end I understand it now.
The photoshop format won't be universal. You have to open it in Photoshop, go to Image>Duplicate, Layer>Flatten, File>Save As and change the format from .psd to .jpg. Are you trying to share the layers with someone without Photoshop? That's not possible unless they have Photoshop or Acrobat Professional.
Your demonstration of the different blending modes with the new B/W adjustment feature makes your tutorial unique & more helpful than the other tutorials I have seen. Thanks for the extra info.
Looking forward to future tutorials - as they all are terrific!! Best regards from Texas
Thank you for this tutorial. I still haven't switch over to CS3 but after reviewing this tutorial I have change my mind and going to upgrade. Looks like I have to brush up my Skills for CS3. Thank you very much your tutorials are very helpful and allow me to grow more. I am wondering if you can do a tutorial on retouching Men Since they have different skin tone and texture then women. Could you do some tutorials?
Love all your tutorials very thorough, even for a beginner like me :)

If you have CS3 and don't have the Black And White Adjustment then you need to call Adobe for help or a refund.

Hi.. I wonder is there is any program to convert photoshops picture ? cuz i made one for him but he cant open it :S Must he also have photoshop?
sludy 4 years ago
Duplicate the file, flatten it, and go to File>Save As...and choose "jpeg" as the format.
Use at least a high quality setting of "10" in the jpeg options box when it opens. JPEG will show up on any computer platform without Photoshop!
