I've noticed that, as a general rule, his home videos attract more views than his concert videos do. There may be exceptions, of course.

His home videos are made in a smaller room, and so it's easier to achieve good sound. He's more relaxed, of course. And, he can record new songs at home; in a concert, all songs are songs he's done before. (It wouldn't have to be that way, of course, but it is).

okay, i really don't understand why people compare Sungha Jung with that bieber kid. obviously, they're live in a completely two different world! Sungha Jung is a pure guitar player, and justin bieber is a singer. if you want to compare justin with someone, just compare him with greyson chance or cody simpsons. if you want to compare Sungha Jung with someone, compare him with other fingerstyle guitar player please. Sungha Jung is great, he plays guitar with his heart and soul. that's the beauty.

@MrOlliguitar The reason why Sungha Jung being so adored by people is because he has such an AMAZING talent. he mastered fingerstyle technique since he was 9. how many people can do that? yes there are so many greater guitar players like andy mckee or depapepe or else, but Sungha Jung is different. unlike them, he has been so successful since he was really young. Sungha Jung very is special.

@kguitartpplayer Talent is a word that is used as a mere excuse to not practice. I can see how you think that something like this can't be attained by anyone, but the truth is simply that it can. I love Sungha Jung, but to say he is above anyone else because of 'talent' is wrong. He is successful because of pure 100% dedication. I'm an artist and people have often told me "you're so talented, I could never do that," but I started by drawing stick figures. Practice is the key, not talent.

hey im a fan of sunghas music

im about the same age as him and got a guitar for christmas last yr with an instruction book

i learned some basic chords and stuff but im not sure where to go from here

id like to take lessons but im not sure if i have the time or if my parents will be willing to pay for it

@blargafone I would advise you to go to your local guitar shop and see if they know of any tutors that could help you out. They'll be more than willing to work around your schedule. As far as money... mine was about 20 dollars a lesson, I assume that it would vary widely depending on your area and the tutor. It shouldnt be insanely expensive though.

Sungha is talented for his age, but his is not a god or the greatest guitar player of all time as some believe. In fact, as he gets older, the cuteness is wearing off and he is becomes just one of many talented guitarists out there, while talented younger kids like guitarist/singer AJSIL move in to his former wonder child spot.

@kguitartpplayer Sungha Jung is undoubtedly talented... but to say that you can't obtain skills such as his even with practice is bullshit. Sungha himself said that he practiced like crazy, ATLEAST 2 hours a day, 7 days a week, in an interview. So people dont be discouraged by stupid comments such as this, if anything sungha jung probably wants you to pick up a guitar and play with you, not scare you away with his talent.
