  • glad no injuries. Keep safe always!

  • snubber

  • oops

  • get out your scrub brushes boys!!

  • Good noone was hurt, blow outs are potentialy deadly. I have never seen one up close thank God

  • The completion was scheduled too late prior to drilling allowing high pressures to build up below the bridge plug. Not only that the bridge plug was set too high to allow adequate fluid to kill the well. The bridge plug had no equalizing valve as well. They were pretty much set up for failure. There would have been no way to stop the blow out.

  • how much are you making on a service rig? like an hour??

  • @SteveFrench306

minimum starting wage for a green floorhand is 24.90, some companies pay up to 29. only goes up from there...

  • @Arathae: Doesn't make sense for a good oil rigger from alberta to be looking for work in SK. Don't they have enough work there to keep everyone and then some busy?

  • lloks great. why don't you want to have one of these in manhattan?

  • haha id hate to clean that iron

  • wheres the b.o.p??? Holly fuckkk

  • I have pics of the aftermath of this well... the tubing looked like spaghetti... I know some of the guys that were working on this rig, I am glad that no one got hurt!!

  • was this a apex rig working on a midale petroleum hole?? pretty sure i heard all about this

  • @rockadilly33 Not much you can do but put the redwings in gear, and wait till it blows down, and hope the tubing dosent hit somthing to cause sparks & a fire, been lucky never had the tubing leave the hole, just big messes. Had freinds who had a simular incident ,with a packer and stripping bowl & rubber valve in the tubing closed, when they relased the packer the rubber didn't relax as it was supposed to,while waiting on the packer to equalize it all came to see em.

  • Lol every guy we've had from Alberta except one was a drunken retard.

  • wheres the b.o.p !!!!!!!!!!?????????

  • On the wellhead

  • should of had snubbers on hole with good irp practices.

  • @kylerave123 you obviously have no idea what your talking about

  • that must have been fun to clean up with the environmentalist hippies on your ass 24-7

  • no enviro hippies in sask yet they still think alberta has all the oil ! lol

  • Real rigs dont have wheels boys. should have thrown in the stabbing valve and called snubbers the second you seen the joint float or bled back to the testers tank someone not paying attention guys like you hurt Tong hands like me. Get it together boys

  • It is called unsetting a bridgeplug with out a K-valve. You have no idea what pressure is underneath it that way.

Just pay more attention to setting them where you are suppose to and don't drop rags on them. When the pipe is coming out of the hole at 100 miles a hour all you do is run.

  • your an idiot

  • I do question your comment on "real rigs don't have wheels". Ingersol Rand's RD 20 has enough technology to drown your travelling blocks and elevators is a sea of mud while they tear out and move on to the next site.

  • Good work Frayne and Blackmere world record holders for comin out of the hole side ways fastest

  • fuck those were bad days on that rig i remember it like it was yesterday

  • lol You're one schooled cookie. 'Controles', 'heros' and 'you guys havto smarten up down there guys!' says it all, doesn't it?

  • ppl who wana understand what went wrong and why so it does not happen again. dosnt hurt to learn from others mistakes.

  • @smokncobra429 but it does when your on fire

  • all mr know it alls under me who gives a fuck whos rite or wrong

  • stabbing vavle wouldnt have helped. there was no equalization valve on the bridge plug so as soon as they un latched the bridge plug dies the prssr pushed all the pipe, bridge plug included, up the hole. the company has since invested in a bridge plug with an equalization valve to allow the them to even the pssr out before un latching the bridge plug. dont speculate on some thing u know nothing about. know the facts first.

  • Just asking an honest question here but wouldn't a stabbing valve be redundant if the pipe was being push out?

  • thats a roger pretty tuff to put the stabbing valve on when theres collars rushing by lol

  • Congrats, maybe there was too mush pressure to put that stabbing valve on? Don't be all high and fucking mighty. You were NOT there and dont know the circumstances.

  • I'd drive as far as I can away from that!!

  • @scorpio77ab no nothins gonna happen except for a big mess!!

  • This was the first hole I ever worked on. The drilling rig, not the service rig that experienced the blowout.

  • hey man that is a service rig you can see the tubing getting blowing out of the well your a jam tart.

  • isnt thisther rig that when they latchedo nto the bridge plug it shot all the tbj out of the hole?

  • i cleaned that up cant believe no one got hurt

  • didnt this blow out shoot all the pipe out of the hole when they latched onto the bridge plug

  • thats wormy as hell, shut the BOP's and get someone up there to stab a TIW valve and close that sumbitch off...... ya damn canadians

  • really smart you jack ass. the tubing got shot out of the hole. were are you putting the stabbing valve onto

  • You're a fucking idiot.... you dont know the circumstances on that.

  • can i get them pics of smokin cobra

  • carrot puller rig

  • LOL! carrot puller rig? well only the extra special retards work on the diggin rigs.. u think cause yer irons bigger yer smarter?.. Diggin rigs r fer fuckin retards!

  • Talk about retarded, you can't even fucking spell. You fucking idiot

  • LOL! iguess u work on a drillin rig eh?... fagget! hahaha!

  • Wow all that money gone! Great video!!

  • Ya it was just by steelman and it was an apex rig.

  • Probably should have set weight on the plug to equalize first instead of being a bunch of retards.

  • All members of the public, firefighters, and emergency personnel-The `establishment` has failed in their duty to tell you of this.. Google paddyanddollydotnet and read FIREBURN MEDIA ALERT and tell all your friends

  • its cool to see the video. I am a driller off the rig that drilled this hole. had major trip gas on a bit trip. I have pics of my crew and i flaring it off.

  • man thats fricken crazy

  • this is fantastic. can the person who filmed this please contact me? It's digupstupid at gmail.

  • what rig is that?

  • was this that one out by lampman?

  • anyone get hurt?

  • No... no injuries. Just some dirty shorts.

  • HA HA well thats allright. what causes that to happen

  • should of shut the rams.or used a real bridge plug .

  • and that is why you back your vehicles up to the rig ..just in case..

  • I bet that scared the shit out of you.

  • Looks like a dirty one boys!
