  • @uzoouk ...jealousy.

  • @chloemutton probably cause this is really cruel, i dont know, maybe they dont like otters or basketball?

  • @chloemutton maybe for the porn music

  • hopefully there wasn't any force when they were trained

  • OSHAWATT!!!

  • Dunking on niggas haha

  • STRANGELY, OTTERS HAVE A HIGHER ORDER INTELLIGENCE. I BELIEVE MEMBER OF WEASEL FAMILY. THE PACIFIC OTTER UTILIZE TOOLS SUCH AS ROCKS ON THE SEA FLOOR TO CRACK OPEN ABALONY SHELL IN THEIR KELP SEAWEED BEDS. NORMALLY ANIMAL TOOL USUAGE IS TRAIT OF PRIMATES ESP. THE GREAT APES. HAVE A GOOD DAY!

  • Hey Michael Jordan, seen your new rival yet? Let's just say he's OTTER this world. Oh yeah I so went there. :) OTTERS FTW!!!!

  • "one of the most intelligent creature of this world" ............. in jail, with a ridiculous small place to swin, and doing human things for them to be so happy :(((( otters has nothing to do there, let wild animal stay wild !!!!!!!!!! and do their wild animals stuff, not aping human behevior, shame on the trainers, the park owner, and those who forget what an animal is and pay to see him in jail doing silly things :((

  • @crucarmen You do realize that humans are animals too?

The wild aint all its cracked up to be, animals DIE in the wild, they don't in a zoo or sanctuary, they don't even have to fight to eat.

Have you ever heard of the phrase, "you can't miss what you've never had?"

  • @Wombleonastick WOW ! animals don't die in zoos ??? I want a place for me in a zoo, I can represent the human specie !!! and live for eternity... just be serious one minute : an orqua (a killer whale if you prefer) live 60 to 80 years in nature. 15 in marinelands. this is only an example. lots of other examples show that animals in zoos and parcs have shorter life and are not happy. and those human-like tricks are absolutely desperating.

  • @crucarmen 1. I'd like to see some proof of your statement, most animals I have come across, I have found some sort of info on captivity improving their lifespan.

    2. I'd like some proof tbh, this otter was obviously born in this zoo or in another one, he has fully accepted it and is enjoying himself. Ask yourself this, would it be fair to now take the otters out of their home, the zoo and to send them into an inhospitable environment which they may die in because of lack of experience.

  • @Wombleonastick just study keiko's life (save willy heroe). concerning these particular otters : of course no, you can not throw them in wild nature and tell them "you'll have to manage on your own !". What we can do for otters, (and tigers, and elephants, and turtles... infinite list) is to let them wild in the wild, and live their life of wild animals. Not capturing them to play stupid human-like tricks, in so small "living space". an orqua swims 100km a day. check their pool's size.

  • @crucarmen My grandfather took 3 tries to release a kestrel back into the wild after healing it back to shape, if a kestrel can get that attached in a few months, imagine how attached an animal can get when it was born there and its been there for years?

Do you really think that it would be fair to take you out of your home and into the wild without your consent?

  • @Wombleonastick of course these particular otters could seem sentenced to life-long jail in this zoo, but no it is not unavoidable, some people's work is to teach them and train them to the wild life, and then to put them back in the nature. It is possible, but not "one shot" of course. Sorry to say but really, if you appreciate to watch animals, try to watch them in the wild, without disturbance, this is so much more beautiful...

  • @crucarmen 1. What do you mean BACK in the nature? they've never been there, and its not their home.

    2. Sorry to spoil your idea of the wild being a dreamland, but animals that are put in sanctuaries and zoo's are normally hunted for their valuable meat, fur, bone, and feathers, why do you think rock pigeons aren't put in zoos often?

How certain can you be that animals sent back into the wild wont just be hunted down or recaptured, where they may end up in even worse conditions.

  • @Wombleonastick no I dont think the wild is a dreamland, far from that... and you are true, they've never been wild before. What I mean is that the best should be to let wild animals in the wild, and live their life. Of course, and I agree with you on that point, it is impossible to put "back" in nature some animals that were born within humans and absolutely don't know how to manage alone. This is not what I ask for.

  • @crucarmen I just mentioned that in some cases, these zoo animals can go back to nature, with help of course. we do enough harm to fam animals to eat (and this is a huge case to manage...) let's give tranquility to wild animals who do NOT need us, what we can bring them is not good for them. (you mentionned yourself : capture, killing...) , even if their life is very hard. this is THEIR life. not our toy.

  • I guess Yao Ming has a job as a "consultant" when his NBA career is over...which is pretty much now.
