Im not sure if Huck would have beaten Obama, but he has a very good way of clearly articulating his ideas in simple, logical terms. A long shot in '08 (after Bush) for sure, but he was the ONLY "R" with a chance.

In a GENERAL election, Paul gets ALL of the "R" vote, at least half the indep, & a sizeable % of anti-war Dems, not to mention the Dems opposed to the war on drugs & even the insanity of the current tax code.

Personally I think "moderate" McCain would have been FAR more "fiscally responsible" than Reagan/Bush/Bush. I say "fiscally responsible" because "fiscally conservative" is meaningless thanks to Reagan.

That involved one or two students who had been going to school in Arkansas for years who were excellent students that had qualified for a scholarship.

Huckabee felt that because the crime was not theirs that they should be productive citizens that got the scholarship they earned.

He was not giving bundles of your money to anybody for being an illegal immigrant, the kids had to be in schools so Huckabee wanted to have them treated as normal students.
