The building with the Golden Dome is NOT A MASJID - it is known as KUBBAT-AS-SAKHRA (trans. Dome of The Rock). The Dome of The Rock is not a mosque (masjid).
The masjid with the dark grey dome is Masjid Al-Qubaly / Masjid Al-Qudsi.
Masjid Al-Aqsa is actually the WHOLE of the area of the piazza as viewed from the air.... The whole area including the two domed buildings.
Masjid Al Aqsa is surely a place of religious/historic importance to all the believers on the globe. Even after migration to Medina Holy Prophet Muhammed peace be upon him offered prayers towards Al Aqsa Masjid for 17 months. It was changing of Qibla to Kaaba that raised awareness in the Jews that now their religion stand rejected & Islam takes over as the last & final religion. Since then they are planning & investing to crush Islam & Muslims. But havent been able to outwit Allah till now.
is there a specific route that would allow someone to get from the hordan border to jerusalem without having to cross any closed military areas or settler roads
We had a car with driver through our travel agent.. From the West bank border we went straight to East Jearuslam. We did not go through any military or settlers' enclosure. What is the situation today, I do not know. . For the latest situation you may contact any travel agent, which may be found through internet.
Excellent video. i wish there was more of it. may Allah bless you for your effort. can you tell us more about the visa and legal issues you faced when going there. JazakAllah
Dear Janji, Salam: We crossed King Hussain/Allenby Bridge on the Jordan river. Yes, we had to wait for three hours on each side. By the way, we had American passport. The border is not always open. We took the chance and thought even if we could not make, at least we will be able to see Amman, Dead Sea, and other holy places in Jordan. According to Hadith, we made pilgrimage of Masjid-e-Al-Aqsa, after Hajj. It was very educational for the whole family, too. Allahsubhanwatala made it possible.
The mousque with the gold dome is called "Mesgid al-Sakrah(the dome of the Rock)" , and the mousque with the gray dome is called "Al-masgid al-qubaly(the qubaly mousque)" .
Al-Aqsa is all the rectangular area that surrounds these two mousques as well as other places inside the rectangular area.
Abboooody, in few words you have described the two mosques and Al-Aqsa - the sacred sactuary, very well. Many times many people get confused. Thanks for the clarification.
may be so may be i have bin lied to all my life all i know is the end is comeing i fear we all have hell to pay i think we all have missd the true thing to do all we do is kill in the name of a god i think the true god will not forgive us killing in his name
The video, East Jerusalem: 3 of 3, is on Masjid-e Al Aqsa, which has black or grey dome. The arches, maharab ect are inside of the Al Aqsa mosque. For the 'Dome of the Rock,' please see the video, East Jerusalem, 2 0f 3. It has dome of 'Gold plate,' or golden dome. You will see the rock and the cave inside. I hope it is clear to you, now.
I enjoyed this clip about my city Al Quds ....My cousin Imad was giving the historic information , Jazaak Allah Kh'eer , thank you for posting it ....Jerusalem Al Quds will be restored inshallah soon .
I just want to let you know that I am not Muslim, but I really respect your believes and the story about this Mosque is amazing... God Bless. Great video
Please get a translation of the Holy Quran. The answer is in there; all answers are in there. Peace! And I invite you to accept that there is no diety worthy of worship except ALLAH, the One True God.
Dear Viewers: You may view the long version (37 minutes) which is in more detail and and the three parts have been combined. It is in "video Google." Type, "Zafar Nomani", in the search bar.

Where's the Rock? Why so much mistery about it? Is it something of God or what?
